We are currently in Canada and all we did was fill out a customs declaration form and show our passports to enter from the U.S. We drove over the boarder from New York but I would assume it’s the same process if you are flying from U.S. into Canada.

We were able to book SD reservations 6 months in advance. Our cruise is 11/2/24 and we booked all SD reservations on 5/7. For Spellbound we booked on 3/22 when the reservations were open for a few hours one night. 

@bnickle Thank you for taking us along on your journey. We will be on the Sun in November so looking forward to hearing about your experience. I love your attitude with rules 1, 2, and 3. Always look for the best in things when traveling and experiencing new things. I’m always so thankful for every trip we are able to take and the memories I have when returning home. I’m remembering our 2 trips to Barcelona as we did many of the same things you are doing this week. I too was fascinated with Gaudi and one of my favorite photos was taken on the balcony at Casa Batlló. The Segrada Família is other-worldly and I hope to go there a 3rd time when finally finished.

Let’s try this again. Interesting notification from Princess this morning on the Sanctuary Collection on the Sun and Star Princess. Looking forward to hearing more about this as well as the cost of upgrading our mini-suite cabin.

Did have a slight issue with my CC being used needing additional info and had to reenter charge info for my card for some reason, but still got reservations

That’s the great thing about CC is getting notified when things open up or are changed. Congratulations on getting a reservation for Spellbound! We have it booked in November as we were able to book a few weeks ago when they opened reservations for a short window of time. We also got our reservation because of other people posting on CC.

My wish list is short……no smoking anywhere indoors on the ships! Move all smoking to designated areas that are outside on the open decks. 

We just went on our first Celebrity cruise and booked another before we got off the ship. We love that their ships only allow smoking outside. If Princess continues to allow smoking in their casinos, which of course then permeates the air outside the casino, I can see our dollars and loyalty moving over to Celebrity.

We are new to X having just done our first in February. Looking forward to following along on your fabulous trip! You have quite a following. Wishing you a safe and fun-filled journey!!!

You are correct. We don’t mind dressing up. DH is happy to wear a Sports Jacket or Blazer on the plane as he’s always cold so it keeps him warm…win, win. He also doesn’t mind wearing a jacket on the ship as again it’s usually cold for him. Plus he has a great, tasteful, Beatles tie he loves to wear on the cruise and it always sparks conversations with people around us. We will be on the ship for 2 weeks so we will have other opportunities to wear our dress up clothes, and we enjoy it since we rarely do it at home anymore. While this experience won’t be for everyone it is perfect for us and our friends.

I’m still very excited about Spellbound as I don’t really care about the dinner. I’d be fine with a burger and fries. For me this experience is about the drinks, the Magic Castle inspired rooms and the close up magic. I’m hoping between our party of 4 we will try all 12 drinks (sharing of course, no judgement please). I think they look amazing! I will most likely never be invited to the Magic Castle and as someone who has been fascinated by it since childhood I can’t wait to have a similar experience!!!

Credit card charge is still pending. Hopefully all is good. How about you all?

Thanks. I found it and it does say Spellbound. Taking a screenshot just in case it disappears.

This is what is showing in my app. It shows the correct reservation time of 5 pm but nothing about Spellbound. I think we all need to keep checking the app and report back when anyone can see Spellbound showing up in the app again.
