  1. Thinking of cruising on the Spirit next year and would like input on the interior window rooms on deck 4. I know they are obstructed views but are there ones with better views than others. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. Over the years we have experienced different vibes in the piano bar. Even with the same piano player. Sometimes even the best piano bar player is limited to the majority. On our last cruise we were so happy to find one of our favorites, but unfortunately there were too many requests for music we did not care for. We are not a fan of popular teenager music. So we just found somthing else to do.
  3. Yes Belize is beautiful. We have had many scuba diving vacations there. We just don't like the tender hassles. We also don't do the Margaritaville or Senor Frogs thing.

  5. We will also be on Glory in 8 days 2 hours 5 minutes. Not that we are counting down or anything. We have never had a good experience tendering in Belize. For this reason we stay on ship and enjoy the ship.
  6. Tabasco's Chef Maestro was a lot of fun. In fact we are doing it again in two weeks. After cooking and eating you can stay and lounge in a small pool overlooking the dolphins pool and sea. The drinks keep coming around as long as you are there. We had the pool area all to our selves. Much more relaxing than going back to the crowded ship pool.
  7. This is how my hubby gets around the 15 drink rule. As long as you buy the wine before the 15th drink it does not count towards 15. But once you hit 15 that's it, nothing else is supposed to be bought. We have had bar tenders over look this.
  8. We had this happen to us in our first Carnival Glory cruise. We went to MDR as soon as we were on board and explained. We did go to Steakhouse that first night but where informed that we're had been moved to early dining. I also told them I am diabetic and can not wait to eat until 8-9 to eat. It worked out. Good luck and happy cruising. We will be on Glory again in 16 days!!!
  9. We bought the basic package in June on Glory. It never worked unless we were in port. We went to GS halfway through and got our money back. It was a full ship.
  10. We were on the Glory in June and could not get the app to work and could not get anyone on phone to answer. I was not happy but hubby, being much easier going than I, suggested we go to coffee shop. We do not drink fancy coffee at home, but loved trying different fancy coffees. We always get Cheers, so now we are looking forward to our cruise fancy coffee in January.
  11. Well I guess there is still RC and NCL for a change in ships. I loved the Dream out Nola. Would not have to look other lines if we could get Drram class ship.
  12. So how does the Glory and the Liberty compare? I am tired of Glory and want to see a different ship in Nola.
  13. Hello everyone! I can finally see the Chef's Table in my planner for our 1/15/23 Glory cruise. It has a place to make a reservation but it only shows the first night as a choice. Any one have any experience with this? Is it really the first night? Or do they make it another night like it's been in the past? Thank you for imput!
  14. Well, I saled Dream out of Nola and would continue. Glory on the other hand, I have been looking at other lines out of Nola.
  15. What pool does the waterworks come down in? Is serenity open deck or what is above it? Does it have the spa pass?
  16. You mentioned a pool in serenity. Is it s pool or hot tub. We thinking of booking the Spirit when it comes goes to Mobil. We live close to Nola but wanted to sail a different ship. So we are curious about all things Spirit.
  17. We always get Cheers. We always would have paid more if we had not purchased it. I get home and add everything up just to be sure. I have no problem admitting that we are drinkers. We work hard and we play hard. We do not drink off the ship on port days other than water. Plus we have found that we love the foofoo coffee when not having a spicy bloody mary. I drink a water between vodka and sprite zero or scotch on ice or old fashion. I usually hit 10 and never regret the day before. Hubby can hit 15 nearly every night and no one even thinks he has had any. It completely depends on how and what you drink.
  18. I hate to say this, but our last cruise in June. The Steakhouse service was not good. Not even close to service we got in MDR. We did not tip Steakhouse extra. We did however tip extra to our MDR service members.
  19. Pre-covid we purchased for Dream out of Nola. Rooms were not ready. Bags still after dinner. We have not bought since that several years ago when priced around $60. We have had several cruises out of Nola and have not had problems getting through lines as we show up for our time and don't have to wait around We usually pick 1pm check in time. It's a steady walk onto ship.
  20. Okay, so I am not a cake or dessert person. But now yall got me wanting to try these cakes. Are they on every ship? I have a week on Glory soon. Where are these amazing cakes?
  21. So do they charge an 18% tip on a drink you served yourself?
  22. Which ships have the self service sodas?
