  1. We are @ 30 minutes from the Seattle piers and a few hours from Vancouver BC

Sure is nice to have breakfast - grab the suitcase - lock the door - arrive at the ship in short order. Well, there is Seattle traffic to factor in

Of course how many times can one go to Alaska? But there are many cruise lines to chose from

  2. The two big plusses for Aqua are BLU restaurant, we loved and Persian Garden, with its three saunas and nice rest area. Concierge is just a glorified veranda.

Agree BLU & the Persian Garden are the Aqua attractions for us. Plus, there is a special boarding area which in one case was speedier than the Suite area

Also..if in Aqua...and book a specialty dining on the ship on the day of boarding...there is a discount ! Not advertised, you need to ask

  3. Having stayed for one night before our cruise this March we stayed at the

Harbour Rocks Hotel by MGallery collection, it is literally a one minute walk downhill to the terminal, great rooms and location, would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at the Quay West Suites across the street from Harbour Rocks several times and loved it ! Perfect location. I vote for staying in the Rocks.

  4. Good cookies ? I am a cookie monster !

Do you receive a daily bulletin or is all the information announced at the daily briefing?

Seems like an easy going lifestyle on board.

Any suggestions from seasoned river cruisers? We leave next week

  5. I am not experienced with river cruising. I am taking the Grand European in a few weeks - our 1st river cruise. I've lived in Germany for 10 years thanks to the US Army Lived along the Rhine once and near Wurzburg another. Returning "home" Rothenburg was our favorite Go-To place. If you have not been there, I recommend the optional tour. It is worth the effort.

Buy yourself a Schneeballen or 2 at a Backerei They are only sold in Rothenburg

    YUMMY
