So hard to figure out standards in different parts of the world. for the driver service to and from port (1 hr drive) you are suggesting only $1 tip?

I was thinking we’d need cash to tip the tour guides. Like the Poster I was thinking about $500us in euros as I was looking at 8 excursions ($20-40 tip per day) plus the tip for driver to and from port ($20-40) in addition to bar tips ($5/day), steward tips ($5/day) and a buffer.

We don’t tip for each drink but pick favorite bar tenders and give them a $10 or $20 every couple or three days.

Are they able to cancel in embarcation day? Just curious as We have vibe passes for an upcoming trip but also have bid for haven. If we find out at last minute that we do win haven bid we are wondering if we will be able to cancel vibe

If you upgrade (more $$) from the free at see drink package up to the premium or plus packages (extra fee) then you will get the bubbly waters. Last March on Breakaway with the premium package (which is an extra supplement) there were many flavored bubbly water options and also a Starbucks including all their iced teas. I would agree with others that the base drink package included in The free at sea is extremely limited and won’t have a lot of options for a non drinker. Myself, I would either decline it and save the gratuities or upgrade it to the better premium package. However your cabin mate needs to pick the same thing so that may influence your choice.

You mention tax on drinks over $15 in US port. Does that also occur if you have the premium drink package?

For anyone who has travelled on the sun recently, a few questions on entertainment especially on sea days. - on sea days are there wine/margarita/whisky etc wine tasting experiences available similar to the larger ships (for a fee)? - are they doing the behind the sea tours (for a fee)? - any evening entertainment like magic or comedy shows etc that is not music based - of all that fails what is the arcade like? any other recommendations for sea days? could you share your recent freestyle dailies?

I tried chat they say they don’t have access to that portion of website I've called 4x over a couple months they seem very confused, ask why I need more than 3 nights dining (9 day cruise) and tell me they don’t know how to add anything in addition after my plus booking as that should be good enough
