On the daily schedule on Arvia there was an official LGBTQ meet up venue and time shown every evening I believe? Maybe others on here can tell you more?

We managed to use the stairs all holiday. For fitness and to burn some calories rather than from fear of covid But we are mid 50s so at our age we can do it I realise it's not an option for many cruisers

Arvia must be safest P and O ship ever built in terms of not being a Petri dish You don't even touch toilet doors now just hover your hand in front of a sensor and they open Whereas airports and planes and the coaches that take you to and from the planes are as bad as ever for transmitting stuff

Can't beat it for a winter sun and beach holiday IMO We've tried all the Canaries, Dubai even Gambia And cruising in Feb it's cheaper than all of them. Maybe same price as Canaries cruising but way better sun Only downside is the long flights IMO

Not sure about olive grove But 6th street diner is open for lunch on Arvia and you can just do walk ins at lunch time Not sure if lunch time and dinner menu changes We only did lunch there

Or on airport transfer coaches and planes together when on fly cruises coming home!

I've just done 14 nights Arvia Caribbean February 18th. I've got a whole live thread about it will post a link if I can find Brilliant cruise. We will be booking same cruise next year. Incredible value. Very few masks being worn by crew on Arvia last month Even less by passengers

I think pretty much every morning we could have left the boat as early as 8am if we wanted to Certainly never later than 9am

Yes it took about 15 minutes to the beach for Jet skiing. Loads of taxis waiting at the port Nice beach as well.

You need to leave room for 3 desserts though!! Lol

Re breakfast we only used the buffet and the quays for breakfast on Arvia. Great selection of food at each. We actually preferred The Quays. It always seemed really calm there and had a nice spot outside where you could eat breakfast with a view as well You can eat breakfast outside at the buffet if you walk to the back of deck 16 as well If you are on a warm`weather cruise Nice way to start the day I think

Yes just refill water bottles from one of the dispensers around the ship. Some of those dispensers even tell you how many bottles they have saved the planet from as you refill from them! Another improvement from old style cruising perhaps?

Our inside saver cabin on 20th May is now advertised at £494 per person (we paid £500 per person) Who is advertising balconies at £494 per person? They are still showing £700 plus per person where I looked

Didn't think Glass House menu on Arvia was as good as previous cruises. All small plates. I'm sure we were able to order steaks etc in the past? Desserts werent great either

Dame Darcey Bussell wasn't anywhere near as well known when she became Godmother to Azura in 2010. She had only just become a Strictly judge which brought her to the attention of more of mainstream UK Even now Darcey isn't anywhere near as well known as Nicole though worldwide However, I think Darcey is the perfect Godmother for P and Other ships I don't dislike Nicole at all. She's a very classy lady for sure (normally). Don't like the acting roll she put on for Arvia. No need for that. I just prefer Darcey though. Pure class
