  1. This has been brought up on this site before. Apparently the website has not been upgraded, and there are still passengers booked from before Simply More. I think folks recommended calling either your TA or Oceania directly, or waiting to upgrade once you board.
  2. On our October Marina cruise, we chose to stay on the ship. Although it is lovely to eat in a great restaurant at the top, we decided "been there, done that" and stayed on the ship.
  3. 5years ago, my husband and I took a cruise from Rome to Rome. We spent at least 4 days on both ends in Rome. I think he ate cacio y pepe every night. Repeated it once in the same restaurant. he should have written a book! I finally learned how to make it. One of our favorites.
  4. We never had dinner delivered. Enjoyed the specialty restaurants and Terrace Cafe.
  5. A few years ago in paris, not on a cruise, we had skip the line tickets. There was a long-ish line. My husband thought we were on the wrong line. He went to check and found out it was the correct line. The other line was very long. It is my favorite museum in Paris. Great weather, always worth the short-ish wait even with the skip the line tickets.
  6. Thant was our experience in an Oceania Suite on Marine in October. We had coffee outside, drinks outside, not a meal.
  7. How much smaller? We booked 7135 whap around balcony PH1 for a 14 day cruise. I saw a video of the Riviera one and the closet looks more than adequate for me a very overpacking kind of person. Just wish there were 2 sinks in the bathroom.
  8. Your list includes all of our favorites. Looking forward to being on the refurbished Marina later this year.
  9. I have no idea. It was poured in a dining location during meal times.
  10. I posted this because I read on CC that some people have been doing this.
  11. I think with SM people may be getting a glass of wine or beer at the end of a meal to take to the show.
  12. It is a 14 day cruise. I saw a video of the Riviera closet. I think it will be OK. Thanks for the heads up.
  13. Thank you. I agree, the two back Oceania Suites are wonderful. Since they were not available on this cruise we selected 7135, as I remember you posting about those 2 PH suites. Surprised that one was available. Our cruise has several sea days, the wraparound balcony will be great.
  14. Thank you. We were in a Marina Oceania Suite in October, our first O cruise. Regent has a few other sizes between these. Unfortunately, it was not available on our next itinerary. I remember you writing about these 2 suites 7130 and 7135. Was surprised that it was available. Looks like the shower is bigger (without a bath tub) and there is more room at the foot of the bed. Wish the love seat were longer. How much narrower is this compared to other PH1 suites? I read somewhere that the butler might be "scarce" since this is far away from their other suites.
  15. We just booked 7135 on Marina later this year, after the remodel. With the smaller benches at the foot of the bed, and the table closer to the balcony, it should be better?
  16. One of the 3 I contacted that were found on the Google search for "oceania travel agents Connoisseurs club".
  17. Thanks. I will try to find this bidding site.
  18. The 2nd TA responded with an "offer" of $600 OBC. This is for a $14,000 cruise. Waiting for a response from "door #3".
  19. I am hoping to find on to book the December 2024 cruise I "held" yesterday. Thanks for the advice.
  20. I googles Oceania Travel Agents Connoisseurs Club. After reading the Press Release from FDR when he "selected these TAs (without mentioning names), I just contacted the first 3 which all had the Connoisseurs Club Logo on their websites. Still have not heard from the other 2. What is a bidding site?
  21. I will "pass" on this TA. Waiting to hear from 2 others. Thanks for responding.
  22. The September 2025 cruise we booked in November 2024 has increased 7.6 percent.
  23. I know that specific Travel Agents cannot be recommended on Cruise Critic. After reading about all of the "perks" offered by certain Oceania Connoisseurs Club TAs, I went on a google search. The first one just responded by email to describe their process. A $250.00 fee to book a cruise, $400 to include airfare and other items. Waiting to hear from the other 2 TAs. Is this normal to charge a fee? Thanks for your responses. Our first O cruise in October 2023 we booked direct with O.
