  1. In some photos I’ve seen, the soft furnishings definitely need reupholstering. I am hoping they replace ship wide in favor of more neutral colors instead of that orangey-red.
  2. It is my understanding that LVMH actually runs the stores on the ships. Are these returns they receive that are sold as preowned? Just curious where do they get the preowned merchandise from?
  3. I was replying in response to @aka303 who said they spoke with the captain during their tour on the same ship. I just wanted to give a different perspective that the captain did not speak with us on our tour, which was disappointing since the bridge functions were presented by the tour guide (who didn't really know anything). This is info that OP should take into consideration - that talking to the captain or any officers is not guaranteed.
  4. How did you do that? (I know it's moot now, but just curious.) When I went to order last month, it said that I exhausted the allotment for my address. I think we got a total of 8 tests altogether between 2 rounds of free tests. We have 4 people in my family.
  5. We also went on Navigator last week. Our 8 year old had a good time for the most part, but we had to wait 30 minutes in the hallway waiting for the bridge part. It was hard to keep the kids entertained in a hallway. And security didn't let you leave to come back. Once they secured you, you have to be within their sight. When we finally got in the bridge, most of it was roped off and then Captain Johan promptly left the bridge as soon as we entered. It was extremely disappointing to pay all that money and the Captain just leaves after we were all waiting in the hallway for so long. The tour guide ended up telling us mostly about the bridge. The officers were there to answer questions at the end, but no Captain. It's too bad we didn't have an All-Access Tour available on our March cruise - we would have preferred Captain James because I hear that he's very personable.
  6. Does anyone know when Captain James Nazar is returning to the Navigator of the Seas? And has anyone had any cruising experience with Captain Johan Gronhaug?
  7. @paulajj Hi, just seeing if you had a review of the alcove? We are cruising in 2023 and are debating whether to purchase an alcove for a couple days (we are on a longer cruise). @Team Stag or anyone who have booked the Alcoves... do you get to choose which one you get? Or are they assigned to you? Are any locations better than others on the Reflection?
  8. Here's what I see on PC: Guests in wheelchairs and those with limited mobility should not select this tour. Guests must wear personal protective gear if and when provided. Guests must be able to walk and stand for extended periods and climb numerous steps. Photos and video may be restricted in certain areas of the ship. Children must be six (6) years or older to participate in this tour. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult. Guests with concerns should consult their personal physician. Guests with heart issues, poor physical fitness, and other health concerns should not select this tour. Consider physical fitness and medical history when selecting this tour. Guests with back, neck, knee or ankle issues should consult with their physician before participating in this tour. Guests are required to wear KN95 face masks throughout the tour.
  9. The non-mobile version lists a lot more restrictions. Or maybe it depends on the ship?
  10. @Wink87I know this is an old post, but did you go on this tour?
  11. The sushi I had at Izumi was decent. It's probably a little better than a strip mall or grocery store type sushi place. It's fine, but I would not be sad to skip it either.
  12. It’s 99% imitation crab in the MDR crab cake. If they throw in maybe 1% real crab, I can’t tell. But the large chunks of “crab” are not real crab, but are instead Krab.
  13. Is this busted again today? All the excursions are grayed out for me. Sigh.
  14. I thought that Celebrity waives the air fees (and all other penalty/fees) if you test positive within 10 days of embarkation. You might not want to go through the hassle, but I'm pretty sure they shouldn't have charged you if it is the result of covid.
  15. Hope you feel better soon! I'm surprised there was a penalty for airfare. Most will apply the credit to a future flight without fees.
  16. They do this on Royal Caribbean. Anything except continental breakfast (i.e. cereal, toast, juices, and coffee) incurs a delivery charge of $7.95, unless you are in a true suite (junior suites still have to pay).
  17. My PUP email has my spouse's info in it (name and CC number). My spouse didn't get a PUP email at all, and I didn't get one for myself. 😒
