I TOTALLY agree with this!!! As a nurse I would not be looking forward to passengers who were NOT vaccinated on a cruise. They could “go south “ real fast if they got COVID while on a cruise. It could get ugly and deadly fast!!

Yes. You will need the confirmation code that will be given to you once you complete the ArriveCAN. If you have the app on your phone you can finish the ArriveCAN questions onboard. They either look for the app and/or the code at embarkation.

Yes so much easier. As long as you don’t get someone in front of you (in the wrong line) who hasn’t done it. If you have VeriFLY and ArriveCAN you are golden!! Fast in!!

And if you have an HSA you can pay for it that way. (I did)

I love Tamarind! First time was on my first cruise on Rotterdam in January and again on Eurodam last week! Unfortunately not on the Westerdam 🙁

I have to comment. It was so nice to see you welcome ktbraun. I read the dailies a lot but it seemed to me such an exclusive group of longtime cruisers who seem to “know” each other. I am just a brand new cruiser ( just finished my 2nd cruise today and if the COVID god is generous I leave on the Westerdam tomorrow). I just didn’t think I would fit in or be accepted. It was encouraging to see the kind responses to ktbraun. 👍

Don’t worry. No need to print any and everything multiple times(as HAL keeps changing boarding times upgrades eyc). Take screen shots of everything. It will all work out-promise!!

I would agree! What YOU wear does NOT diminish my experience. What I wear enhances mine!

Yes airplane mode. My cell would not connect to T mobile offshore ( turned off Wi-Fi to test it) so used the ships Wi-Fi. I did have the internet package.

I actually paid for an upgrade to a veranda from an inside ( which I have right now on the Eurodam and love it but decided to splurge for next week on Westerdam). Called to upgrade and specifically picked the 10th deck veranda. But I will enjoy and not be bothered by the change!!!

V means veranda. The letter behind the V is indicative of the level of desiredness - A being the best. VA is “better” than a VD which is better than a VQ. But to me it is subjective. I just got upgraded to a VA(5th deck) from a VB (10th deck). I like high and forward!!

Yes. Take another one with your phone and see if it works. It took me a couple of tries.
