Echo this. We booked a duplex as it was the only 2 bathroom option - there wasn't a 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom option in YC.

> Not combinable with MSC Voyagers Club Discount. This is the same with other discounts, such as for healthcare workers. For us, it worked out similar/the same/good enough(tm) to status match and go with Voyagers Club + early booking, and a lot less faff.

This is because MSC is aware that you cruised recently and thus have not yet climbed the requisite number of steps in order to resume cruise-level calorie intake.

Interesting - when I booked this suite on the World Europa I was a bit concerned that the balcony might be too windy. Will be interested to hear how you find it (assuming you are travelling before next Summer). The extra bathroom was a huge deal for me, sharing with three ladies! I'm honestly surprised even the owners suite only has 1.

Doesn't look like they are available to book yet. I wouldn't be concerned; no way would any cruise company miss an opportunity to upsell excursions 😉 In the mean time, it might be worthwhile looking at the port reviews elsewhere on this site. Pompeii, for example, I've read is easily accessible by public transport. Also - for my situation at least - a taxi may be a better bet for Mt Etna, given that the weather and hence views can be very variable.

Whatever my personal opinions on the matter (which can I'm sure be rather easily divined), I very much doubt there is anything in the terms & conditions that guarantees exclusivity of YC facilities to YC guests.

Pure speculation, it is a perk, and YC is not intended to be part of the deal. (Or else it was, but no-one thought through the consequences on affecting their highest paying clientele.)

Yes, that works for me - the app shows my status as Classic, which is what I status matched as. My booking confirmation however shows me as Silver (presumably what the purchase of the cruise takes me to), and I have €50 OBC, which I think is a Silver perk. Not going to rock the boat, or ship, over it.
