Does the afternoon Tea with champagne at Sip count towards the bar tab? That was fun, yummy and a good way to relax. like someone else said, sit at Sip have champagne and espresso martini

When we sailed from Barcelona they charged the EU or what not VAT on everything the entire cruise. I don’t think they got far enough out to not charge it?

I would think with the length of the TA your next visit you should get the other menu (I would hope). Corn, Salmon, Shrimp, Lamb, Avacado and Strawberry.

It’s disappointing to see they’re still doing the mushroom, egg etc menu in the test kitchen. I’m surprised they haven’t made a 3rd/4th menu yet.

I used bags n go having luggage sent from airport to ship back in 21’. It worked out great, bags were waiting for us outside our cabin.

I was aboard Scarlet with the initial cabin iteration where there was absolutely 0 “decor”, “textures” and storage. version 2.0 is great. Nice light wood tones and a few pictures over the vanity bringing in dock house vibes. The drawers in the wardrobe while shallow keep things organized. It’s all good stuff and shows they take feedback seriously.

Uh.. where does that article compare it to a HAL cabin? You do know the whole purpose of Virgin Voyages is to be “different” than traditional cruising and to attract a different customer base?

Halloween on VL last year was fun. They changed lighting, put some some decor. Lots of people got into the costumes.

I think both were done. My May sailing on Scarlet the logo shop closest to extra Virgin used to sell rayban products, all were gone and a sunglasses shop for Coral products was opened near on the rocks. That was not there in Nov 21’ on scarlet.

Could have sworn the new vendor had already placed merch/staff on Scarlett back in May. Interesting…

The desk lamps in the cabin are new, curtains and closet curtain. Carpet also looks like a different weave. The furniture in the social club is identical to valiant but different than scarlet. Each ship has unique decor/artwork in the elevator lobbies. Scarlet has coral artwork, valiant coded nautical flag signals and I’ve seen resilient is the most boring just some geometric colored shapes.

You’ll be funneled on the Bimini jimmini to the golf cart meat market where they will hound you to rent a busted up piece of junk for I heard $50+ dollars. Just walk or go park it at the beach club and enjoy the food, sand and water.
