  1. Interested in this, as we sail with the Seaview in September.
  2. This isn't our main holiday, as we've got a few so wanted to cut costs down where possible. Not really seen the appeal for the more exclusive areas, just not for me really. Will be brilliant regardless!
  3. As in what, sorry? I assume this is what you mean? We seen a really good deal, and got our own flights and accommodation, went with premium drinks package. We are inside, but have bid on a ocean view room, as the deal was too good to turn down for an inside room. Fingers crossed we get accepted, as our last cruise was with NCL and we had a balcony. Yourself?
  4. We're doing the same, but from Liverpool. Overnight in Barcelona, then get on board. Hopefully it's a brilliant cruise. Looking forward to it!
  5. We will also be joining from Barcelona on that day. First time with MSC so really looking forward to it
  6. O'sheenan's is open, and it's really good.
  7. I'm going on my first cruise with MSC, at the beginning of May on the MSC Europa. Never been with MSC before, so quite looking forward to it. We were with NCL last year, but have two MSC cruises booked this year.
  8. I'm doing the sailing in May, so I will try and find out regardless. However, my impression was the day at sea would be the Gala night, with other nights being themed throughout the cruise. We are also departing from Barcelona too.
  9. Will the speciality restaurants be cheaper when sailing in Europe? I am sure the prices for the Hola! Taco's is a lot more expensive with this ship, or has the whole fleet price increased.
  10. Yeah, I thought it was, after seeing some videos it does look like it's for everyone. Yeah, I wasn't too sure, it wasn't until I seen more videos of the full ship that the yacht club area doesn't seem up to the standard you'd expect when paying more for it.
  11. Thankfully it's an area that ordinary guests can use - the indoor pool. Like the sarcasm 🙂
  12. This is my concern as well, it doesn't look like there is a bar that would be suitable for this. All the bars seem quite close together in terms of seating, I would hope there's a couple of bars that's a bit spread out with some live entertainment. The English style pub looks quite good, but again, seems quite close to every other person.
  13. What bothered me was due to the ship barely being released, and not fully knowing what is what. I thought that bar/area would look perfect for a sail away - so I'm a bit disappointed in that, but nothing major. In the previous ship we went on, there was a top bar where we spent a lot of time, and it was brilliant to sail away from there. I'm trying to figure out if the indoor pool area is for yacht club only, or not. That area looks great!
  14. I think all the rooms look fairly spacious, even the inside cabins. Seems there's actual room to move, and not just 2 steps and you're in your bed.
  15. I must say, this video looks fantastic. Really good tour of the ship. I have even seen images of a private bar you can go too, https://www.facebook.com/aBMagazin/videos/413193117674628/ with accompanying picture :
  16. It was more to the point that it was a really nice view from the front of the ship, that looks like it's just for Yacht club guests. No need to be rude guys.
  17. I have been looking online at some of the people who were invited on board, and those who have uploaded photos and videos. I have never been on a bigger ship, so this is all new to me, and after booking, I can get where the post is coming from. I will hold judgement until I see some reviews, and see what's really on offer. It looks amazing to me, for what I would like, but one thing I'm not too keen on is the yacht clubs bar - it looks amazing, but why is this only used for the yacht club?
  18. Thanks both for the responses. I was referring to the NCL having some sort of food available 24/7, that was all. But that makes perfect sense, and something that we are now looking forward to after booking. @Nunagoras- We have booked inside on the experience above the first one (can't remember it's name). With a premium drinks package. We've got our room number mid ship too, so we're happy with this. Really looking forward to it, but yeah, just not sure if there will be more queues then smaller ships or not, because it's all spread out with more things to do. Hopefully jeans and polo/t-shirt in MDR will go down fine, unless we have the gala/dress up night, then I will adjust more appropriately. Thanks again, to you both, definitely helped make the booking easier
  19. Hi, what is included in the 'normal dining options' as when we was on NCL, O'sheenan's was included which was like a British/Irish pub food place, I'm assuming similar, you pay for on MSC. Thank you for your reply, it means a lot and has definitely helped me towards what I want to do from my next cruise
  20. Thanks for response, so essentially just the main dining room and buffet that are included - the rest there is an upcharge? If so, do you think it will be like the other MSC prices or more?
  21. Hi guys, any response to this please. Currently looking at securing the flights!
  22. Thanks for that, I seen that the other day and like you say, not much info!
  23. Hi, I have not long got off our recent cruises around the Greek islands with Norwegian and we couldn't fault it at all. I have seen an itinerary that has caught my eye next year on the brand new World Europa, but I have a few questions as I am a bit unsure what to expect. Do we know what food is included with the cruise? I know there are 13 different dining venues, but I am unsure what we would have to pay for and what we don't have to pay for? I noticed all the different activities like the massive slide, the bumper cars, 4D cinema, various shows etc, I was wondering how much these would cost over the course of 7 days. What are the inside cabins like? Our last cruise was a balcony and it made all the difference, but I want to know if these are quite spacious or are they really small, compared to some of the smaller ships like the NCL Gem we was on not long ago. With a drinks package, would these be included everywhere, like the Gin club, the Pub, and all bars around the ship? I am unsure if some places don't allow it, and you have to pay a premium? Dress code? NCL was quite relaxed, and I enjoyed wearing a polo shirt and jeans for evening meals, is this acceptable on MSC or is it stricter for the main dining rooms? What are the differences between a smaller ship and a large one like this? Are there long queues for drinks/food and activities or is it quite simple processes I apologise for the questions, but like everyone, you want to be sure that the cruise you pick is right for you, and ultimately be one of the best holidays you want to go on. Hopefully someone out there can help me, and maybe any curious viewers might find some useful information from it I appreciate any and all help with making a decision on this, and maybe we might see you on these ships
  24. Do we know when we will start to see more of this? I'm thinking of booking, but also curious as to what restaurants and bars are includeed
