  1. Yeah, but it works on existing reservations as long as no other certs applied and your outside the time parameters. 120 for CF and 180 days for CN. We’ve done it several times. See most recent using a CF after initial booking. At least for now it works.
  2. I would venture to guess that the majority of NCL guests are not avid cruisers. As such they will be less affected by the increased DSC, reduced room attention, non-complimentary breakfast room service, reduction of off-Broadway productions, non-weather related skipped ports. Ya don’t know what you don’t know. However, price-resistance may keep these cruisers from ever getting onboard. If they do, they will experience the “new” NCL and will then decide for themselves if the price/value was worth it. As for us avid NCL cruisers…well, we know we’re getting sc$#wed. That being said…I understand the need and will eventually adjust to the new NCL.
  3. You are only able to buy Cruise Next certificates when you are onboard a prior cruise. So if you don’t have any Cruise Next is not an option for you. However, I noticed NCL.com (scroll halfway down page on right) is offering the $250 Cruise First. You pay $250 and get $500 certificate. If your sailing is still before final payment, you can buy one Cruise First cert. Once purchased it will show up in your account and you can apply it as payment…as long as you have no other CruiseFirst or Cruise Next certificates on your reservation. You don’t have to cancel/re-book.
  4. If you are using Cruise Next certificates…and you have some that you have already purchased but not used…here are your conditions: 1) your cruise must be more than 180 days out from the day you apply the CN certs 2) balcony and above 3) you must apply them by Jan 5, 2023 (assuming by US EST) 4) you haven’t already applied a CruiseFirst or CruiseNext certificate/s (but if you have, you may be able to add more for a total up to 3) if you apply 3 cruise next certificates you get $1500 credit for a cost of $750 USD. I hope this explains the terms of this offer. To other posters…if I have not explained correctly…please weigh in…TXS.
  5. Well you’re not losing anything! As of today, I don’t believe any 2024 cruises have the 2+1 latitude reward points. But, tomorrow brings a new day…and a New Year!! Who knows what NCL will offer up. Cheers to happy sailing in 2023.
  6. Yeah, many of the NCL folks try to tell you that. However, it’s well-documented that if you don’t spend it onboard you are only charged $250 for two CN certs. The cruise next OBC they give you comes off the original charge if you don’t use any of it.
  7. While the terms say “new reservation” we have applied Cruise First certificates after initially booking the cruise. As well as Cruise Next certificates. Our PCC has also done this for us.
  8. You can use 3 Cruise Next certs…not Cruise First. Refer to post #1.
  9. Oh…that was your point. I guess that’s why that was bolded. Did I mention I’m a blond. Yeah, but even though it says that as long as your cruise is outside the 120 or 180 days you can apply CF and CN certs. I’ve done it several times as has our PCC.
  10. Yeah I miscalculated Thinking June was in 6 months…duh. But CF is only 120 days. Doesn’t matter since she is actually sailing Celebrity…lol.
  11. CF is 120. I miscalculated on CN not realizing June was 5 mos not 6. However, moot point since OP failed to state her cruise was on Celebrity.
  12. Yes you can purchase CF at NCL.com. It’s usually $300 cert for $150. Right now it’s $500 cert for $250. Once it shows on your account you can apply to your 2025 cruise. This bonus CF offer doesn’t last long…so if interested, don’t hesitate.
  13. Yes, it is an NCL thing. The CruiseFirst and CruiseNext are more of a real sale than the headline sale. With them you actually save $$. I’ve looked at Celebrity and the Aqua Class, and thought it could be a possibility for us. Happy sailing!!
  14. Thanks we’re on Feb 5 sailing and really want to enjoy the pool area.
  15. If you have any cCruiseNext certs you can use 3 through Jan. 8. If you don’t then buy a CruiseFirst cert for $250 and get cert worth $500. You can apply this to your cruise if you’ve already booked or use it as a down payment. It will likely dissapear in a day or two..so don’t wait.
  16. We’re also on this sailing in Feb. Can you share what entertainment was in the main theater and on what night? Also how full was your cruise? How crowded was the pool area?

  18. Wow…wish I had some CNC to use. For others benefit, here is the offer from NCL.com Cruise Next Terms page. CRUISENEXT TripleUp! 19. If anyone is still trying to figure out how to take full advantage of their $350 off $1000 NCL offer before 12/31, I noticed on NCL.com they are offering $250 CruiseFirst certificates for a limited time.
  20. And, this. Don’t get sucked into the “word war” with some of these posters. It is a sale if you paid brochure price…but as you said…who does that!?!
  21. Flight MDW to MCO is BOARDING!! Yay!! But as OP stated…celebrating begins when they land…and they don’t have to worry about their luggage either. Happy Anniversary and Happy New Year 🥂🎉
  22. There is another active thread about Daily Service being reduced to 1x daily. First ship to do this is Epic on January 8. This new policy is reducing contracted staff, as well as reducing pay. I suspect that some of the staff behavior links back to the overall moral on the ship due to these changes. Sorry your cruise experience was impacted by bad behavior. This perspective may get you a little more sympathy/future credit from corporate NCL. https://crew-center.com/norwegian-cruise-line-reduce-stateroom-cleaning-services Good luck.
  23. Looks like their flight is delayed till 12:00, but not canceled as of yet. Prayers for OP departure 🙏🏻
