Note to self: Don’t get on known defective ship! What happens if they need to outrun an iceberg like the ncl ship!

They must really need business. Just saw an ad on fb from Carnival, saying you can get free cruise with card from any casino. I think people would rather stay in hotel area with casinos and avoid the troubles with cruise ships for now.

Like that Concordia. So many were killed in such shallow water. Could have happened the same thing, just worse.

That’s what happened when they drive the ship when they cant see what is in front of them, very foggy. God bless nobody was killed.

Maybe people not going to take cruises any more because there is too many problems. If we take the train or fly we can just go on a land based tour. And see a lot of more things and if not on a tour , then a lot more relaxing and if we dont like the hotel or restaurant, we can go somewhere else. Cruises were good when the service and food was good, now its not even acceptable sometimes.

At least they dont like to smash into icebergs like NCL driving with too much fog to see anything

We went on this ship a few years ago. The aft smelled so bad they had to move our cabin. Not like fuel oil but more like sewage

I see why they have to call for the coast guard. Looks like not enough security on the ships.

We were plan to tour NYC in some time and maybe take a cruise from there, but now I read this and maybe not. Is it just this brand that has this trouble or not? Does this coast guard always get there when requested quickly? The Carnival Magic cruise ship requested assistance from the Coast Guard after 40 to 60 passengers were involved in a brawl on the dance floor of the ship’s nightclub at around 5:20 a.m. ET on Tuesday. A Coast Guard boat was dispatched to escort the cruise ship to its home dock in Manhattan, where members of the NYPD were on hand as the ship docked, according to WNBC.
