  1. I don't think so. I think that HAL closes the bars at 00:00 because most people go to bed. They have plenty of staff to continue serving drinks. There are only 2 bartenders at the Ocean for the entire day. For example.
  2. He is cool. I would go see that. I don't see him on a ship though and even if so, he would likely bounce around.
  3. I will have a look at the documentary. I will have to convince myself on algorithms, I would consider it statistics, but I have not played much or studied it, so you know more than me.
  4. Apparently these two I ships are 100% different than NS.
  5. I was specific about what ship I was discussing. There is no bathroom in the Retreat on NS so you are mistaken about the ship, it is out of gate where you head to sun deck so anyone can access it. That toilet is tiny and inconvenient virtually unusable by someone in walker (my wife) We used crows nest. I think it was port side. whoops.
  6. Not sure what is up, but I cannot edit my post. You are very brave to get on that Heli.
  7. You nailed it. You cannot beat math. Counting deck is just memory, right? I am pretty good at it and still don't play. Expert? Nope. Laugh at gamblers? Yep. Amazing terms on this thread... obviously I know nothing about gambling
  8. I just did ms NS cabana in the retreat. Two doors on each side, bathrooms on starboard nearby and ADA bathrooms in crows nest 1 min away. Any food or bevs are brought to you. Forget the details and do it. They will likely sell out we got the last one 90 days before cruise. It was awesome and from your requirements undesirable. So you should be good.
  9. So hard for me to imagine planning more than.3.months out. You are so lucky.
  10. MDR and CO are virtually the same other than service and a couple dishes. Portions in CO are fine. Portions are regulated. They are not small. Tell them what they did wrong and how to improve it. Did not get enough? Ask for more.... but on ms NS I could not finish dinner unless I skipped lunch. If it is not to your satisfaction ask for a replacement meal. Telling the cruise line to take something off menu is silly without a specific reason. I had a bad salad and told them why, did not want a replacement, but servers would have done everything to make it right. I would never order lasagna when there is amazing seafood and beef that is perfectly cooked, but that is me vs you. Lasagna is a lido dish.
  11. Quite frankly... call if you really are concerned. Otherwise I am relatively confident HAL will figure it out onboard. Why on earth do people do fixed time dining. What a freakIng nightmare it is... lines, packed elevators, packed passages. We made the mistake of being near MDR at fixed time a couple times. Horrible crowds. Great room, but absolutely club orange. MDR Room looks awesome, but waste of time and ears. Will never do it again.
  12. The second set on ms NS was jammed. 3rd set was perhaps 80%. 3rd set was 11:15 to 12. I was up to 12:00 to 3:00 all cruise. Closed the clubs and bars. Some still up with me. Just wish there were even more to rationalize more service late. Nice thing on cruise is I can nap in day.
  13. Cruising is not my gig until wifey became disabled. HAL seem perfect and it was. We did not leave the ship, just an awesome experience. We loved port days when everyone else left.
  14. LMAO.... are you not the boss? I can't spend a dime without wifey. As soon as I said, suite, lounge, cabana, butler, she was all in. Do I need to pitch this to your hubby? πŸ™‚ If you have the money, do it.
  15. I am so sorry you had to cancel. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
  16. Just do it. My wife has serious immune issue. She should have been on TPN (i.v. food), but we found stuff she could eat. The diversity helped us figure out stuff that we would never spend the time buying at the grocery store... if that makes sense. You cannot buy everything that the Lido has. She was walker and wheelchair (evenings). Everyone from service was amazing. YOU CAN DO IT!!! We said fvck it, life is short. Fvck TPN, Fvck C19, lets live life. We did just fine. Both of us came back healthy. We did not mask, but we pay a lot of attention to hygiene.
  17. The only thing "bad" was the club sandwich at 2:00am. Thus 3/10... for one sandwich. What a harda$$.
  18. It was freaking awesome... Best 10k I have spent in years. Thank you HAL and Cruise Critic! The only thing that could have improved it would have been if the 1 Pinnacle suite was available. I would have done it, but we booked Dec 3, it was taken, but I met the "owner" of it and expressed my envy. πŸ˜‰ I am so lucky to have the $$ to have done this.
  19. Whoops. Missed that. It was tolerable. I could outlook and gmail just fine. I avoided video so not sure. I thought that I would be able to SMS/wireless text, but could not.
  20. Don't disagree at all. In fact I would leave a book on the shelf if I brought one. I cannot imagine a lecture that I would learn from. Not against them, just no desire for me. LOL. I am a know it all.
  21. My neptune suite on 2/18/2023 was $10k
