Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Bombas! Love them so much I gradually replaced all my other socks with these in various styles.
  2. Thank you so much for your opinion on boarding. I respect your expertise! I tried to make hibatchi reservations online and they said if I booked for four, they would charge me for four, and I could not be refunded the difference. I spoke to someone in the messenger app. They told me for 3, I would have to sign up in person. I think it was because we already used our dining credits. I thinking I can sign up for three when we board. If we don’t get it, no big deal. Plenty of other options - including the ones without a charge. It’s vacation! 🙂 Your posts have been so helpful!
  3. Your posts have been so helpful. I love how you analyze the pros and cons. My question relates to check-in and boarding time. If I select the earliest boarding time, what is the waiting area like for NCL in the Seattle port? I’ve heard it is better to select something later to eliminate a wait. But we want to sign up for karting and also a 3 person reservation for hibachi. And comedy. What are typical wait times like? I am the vacation planner for our family, and this is our very first cruise. I’m leaning towards the earliest time, but will this involve three hours of standing in a line?
  4. Yes, the “such as” seems to be the loop hole. However, could that mean they just want to open up to other vendor contracts? Like, maybe they will have some better options, but they don’t want to promise one brand? When is everyone cruising? I won’t be able to report back until after my cruise on the bliss August 12-19.
  5. The thing is, I’ll drink the same amount. I’ll just have to make another selection. And I find the plus options drinkable and the standard options pretty bad (just for wine, other stuff is fine) for my taste. I love champagne - it’s my favorite. But I do like all wine varietals if they are high quality. If we are being optimistic, the glass will be half full with our new favorites! And we’ll be on vacation! This is my first cruise so I don’t have old habits. Maybe brut rosé will forever remind me of my cruise! 🥂🍾🥂🥃🥂🍷🥂🍾🥃🍷🥂🍾🍺🍷🍸🍾🍷🥂🍹🍾🥂🍾🥂🍾🥃🥂
  6. I also like Pommery and many other champagnes and premium sparkling wines. However, I’d like to be sure there is a blanc de blanc or blanc de noir somewhere on the ship. It doesn’t seem too much to ask. I only upgraded for premium wine, so this is disappointing.
  7. Hello, on this boat for my first cruise ever in August. I am VERY interested in the wine on board. The plus beverage list has some wines listed, but I’m curious if there are MORE (additional) premium wines by the glass in Cellars, A list or other bars. A photo of the current Cellars wine list would be amazing! I’m deciding if I want to upgrade, and this will help inform us. 🙂 Also want to know if people are taking wine from bars or restaurant (glass or bottle) back to their room. I’m on the 8th, so thinking taking a glass back may work in lieu of the new “bottles to be consumed in dining room” policy.
  8. From the comments, it seems like this may be a good option for me and husband (specialty dining credit), but bring our teen son along without an extra fee, as some commented about using it for more people with plenty of food. Is this allowed? Using 2 credits for 3 people? If so, would work perfect for us!
