  1. I had to talk to them today anyways so I was emailed updated confirmations/invoices and there were no surprises. Their explanations is sometimes a booking will just not have that option online depending on how it’s booked. I guess there’s no fixing it then. The bonus is you see the latest invoice with all the discount codes, amenities, etc. I’ll be requesting the invoice every time I call from now on.
  2. I have been told so many wrong things by NCL reps in the past. So when I was on the Gem at the CruiseNext desk, I pointed out it was balcony and above. I showed it on my phone to the rep. She then searched some site she had access to and showed me it was all cabins. They are doing themselves no favors by not showing the actual (better) promo on the main website. Is there a public site from NCL with "insider" info I can use to cross reference and double check? Carnival, Royal, and Celebrity have websites that I publicly access for some additional information that can include promos not on their main sites.
  3. The $750 off was available today. It might have been the quarterly refresh.
  4. On the Bliss now. Water was in my cabin (promo and Latitudes). It's also under vacation add-ons in the app.
  5. Stupid question from someone who's only done laundry at home or themselves. Do they wash your clothes with other people's clothes? Seems strange if I send in some panties and a bra they would only wash them by themselves.
  6. I believe you can remove the daily service charge and tip yourself but it's inconvenient for the staff and you end up leaving certain crew members out that it covers like the people cleaning the shared areas and all the secondary people helping with dining and your cabin. Can you take off the Free at Sea Open Bar gratuities and tip as you go? Again, it's inconvenient for the staff even if you use cash and you might have multiple people helping with your drink order but I feel like I overpay. We pay 20% on the full package price regardless of how little we drink. I do not get the service that warrants that much gratuity for the drinks I order. I rather tip as I go for the drinks I actually order. Of course, if people drink over the package amount, the 20% is probably not enough.
  7. Does anyone know what is going on and the impacts? My last two bookings were merged and I noticed I don't have any payment information on the website. Makes me nervous I might miss something like they added or removed something. My last two cruises have had NCL system issues and the website seems flaky. I have little confidence with their IT. Their customer service is great when everything works but they are terrible at fixing issues, especially when it's computer related. I've got a bad feeling about this.
  8. I agree you shouldn't be able to but I somehow got the $750 and a $500 later. Probably a technical problem on the myVEGAS side. I was denied using it because there's some checking they do at NCL. (I had used the $750 earlier.) I tried to get a refund of the points but the customer service drone for Playstudios just pointed to the terms and said it was non-refundable. By the way, the NCL rep said I should be able to get a refund. I don't feel like fighting Playstudios again. Their customer service people in some ways are like NCL's... keep trying and you find different answers the more people you talk to...eventually you might get someone to give you a refund. Anyways, I guess I'll have to eat the 500k points. Now the rewards cost even more points. Unless anyone wants to roll the dice with NCL, be careful getting additional rewards.
  9. There’s a set time they refresh each day. I have a reminder so I just check at that time. Each day of the week it’s the same. There are one offs and new rewards that might happen at different times but the existing rewards follow the pattern. https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/index.php?threads/daily-myvegas-refresh-times.193384/ It’s also possible they allocate the rewards differently to each game so it might be worth checking different games. There’s also the way you have to get the game to refresh. Some seem to require a restart while others you just got out of the rewards section and back in, etc.
  10. Now there's only the $750 in POP at 1 million. At least it's in stock. I see 4 available so maybe it's the quarterly refresh?!? Maybe the 250 and 500 will be back too. Update: the 750 is out of stock now but the 500 is back.
  11. https://www.caesars.com/myrewards/partners/norwegian-cruise-line I had Diamond status at Caesars at the time.
  12. I think the key is one _casino_ offer only. They denied me trying to combine a Caesars Rewards 20% off with the myVEGAS $750 off but a 20% off regular coupon was okay. Then again, two different people can use the dollar off rewards on the same cabin. Maybe someone should just try their luck if they don’t mind wasting the points and potentially being blocked from using another NCL reward for a time. Maybe try a room upgrade if your free cruise doesn’t already have it. Keep in mind sometimes the casino people can just give you stuff at their discretion so it might not be myVEGAS allowing it.
  13. Bringing it back to the topic. I forgot to mention the other exclusive(?) Tetris rewards like the 80k and 100k 7 day cruises. Also the comp helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon but it’s 5 million pts!
  14. I used my $750 off on Jan 21 for a cruise in May. I "purchased" the reward on Jan 18 8am or so. The popups on the myvip website and games have said I can't purchase again until July 20 7am and mention 180 days. Sorry, I don't remember where exactly I saw it. July 20 is 180 days from when I booked (aka the reward was redeemed). My experience with Playstudios is they or their partners don't always hold themselves to the terms. You can try to get another reward and redeem it but you risk wasting points if you can't get a refund. While you have the reward you could be missing out on other rewards. I panicked when I saw the giftcards available in Tetris and purchased $10 Cheesecake Factory and $10 Google Play giftcards only to see the ones I really wanted (AMC and Amazon) available the next day. Too bad you're limited to 2 giftcards every 14 days.
  15. Seems like the only free cruises they have are the one way Alaska cruises where flights might be a deal breaker. There are a lot of those cruises so I can only guess they won't have other free cruises unless those clear out. I could be wrong so who knows. There are other considerations. It looks like once you use an NCL reward they won't let you use another one until 180 days. Anyone know for sure? I was denied using a $500 off when I used a $750 off already. I don't know how the "free" cruises would figure into this. I'm surprised myVEGAS let me get the $500 off but the system did. I haven't tried to get a free cruise reward yet. Trying to get a refund through customer support is a pain since technically it's non-refundable.
  16. They forgot to change the banner. It was only available for a short time. Now there's a double up for any stateroom for CruiseNext. Normally it's balcony and up only.
  17. $500 CruiseFirst for $250 right now for a limited time! Check the terms to make sure you really want one. I'm definitely getting at least one.
  18. Great. I guess we have to make sure it's not a carton someone has opened before. More cartons are left behind because of this change to the open bar. I bet some people think it's an extra charge since they have the water in the minibar that will cost extra. Are the cabin stewards saying anything or is there a note saying it's part of open bar? What about the Latitudes water?
  19. A lot of the one way Alaska cruises just appeared. Seven days on the Jewel or Spirit. These are the ones they seem to have trouble filling since I noticed the solo supplement has been dropped too. For solo, it might mean the $750 off is a better deal? I’m curious to see what flights with NCL are costing people. Are you able to get the “free” airfare deal? For solo, this would be half off.
  20. The screenshots people provided of the terms say the cruise had to be booked between 9/14/22-12/15/22. I booked my March 26 cruise on 10/10/22 so it was within that period. However, there was no mention of the 6 pack of 1 liter carton of water to go along with what was then called the "Premium Beverage Package" in the confirmation email. I added the shareholder onboard credit shortly after and got an Amenity Confirmation email but that too didn't mention any 6 pack of water. The only place I saw it was in the Vacation Add-On section in the Vacation Summary on the website but that disappeared a month or two ago. I checked-in a few hours ago and retrieved the e-docs and it lists the beverage package and water as: Unlimited Open Bar Package BEVPK1 1 Water 6-pack (1-Liter) WBP6 1 Note the promo code is not WATER6PK but WBP6 and the beverage package is the current name "Unlimited Open Bar Package." Hopefully this means it will show up in my cabin.
  21. Thanks for the breakdown. They could’ve just thrown in a $500 Amazon giftcard to offset it. Some of the contests have $500 airfare. By the way, it sounds similar to the myKONAMI Does Mexico 7 day group cruise on Royal back in November out of Los Angeles. Fees and daily tips were $235. Free drinks at the casino bar, tips not included. They also had events throughout with drinks. If I remember correctly it was only 2.5 million points which is a bargain for a seven day without even considering a myVIP group cruise. It’s probably easier to get people away for four days over a weekend instead of seven. If they offered it out of L.A. and it isn’t subject to the 180 day restriction I would definitely do it. I would also try to add a CruiseFirst or CruiseNext and Shareholder OBC.
  22. My first cruise with NCL in December they switched a port to what I viewed as worse. Second cruise in Jan, they skipped Bermuda due to weather but no refund of port fees. We started the cruise with three sea days. Along with other reasons, I’m trying to get away from NCL. I unfortunately already paid for two upcoming cruises but after those I’m done with NCL. Seven cruises with Royal, Celebrity, and Carnival, no port issues. All cruises have been after the restart.
  23. Looks like they are throwing in big with NCL. They also have a group cruise offered to certain players along with some contests. Three million points for a 4 day cruise?!?! No airfare. They’re making it sound like it’s a lot better than a regular free cruise. They do throw in airfare for some of the contests but the fees they have you pay for winning are a joke: https://www.playstudios.com/rules/ I wonder how many winners actually go through with it. I already used the $750 off reward so it looks like I have to wait 180 days to get another one. By then I should have plenty of points. I might go for a “free” cruise as long as I can pile on a $500 CruiseFirst, Shareholder OBC, and even an Amex offer.
  24. It stops displaying at 100 in the app and website but you can get more to show. Log into the website via a browser and add there. Once you’ve add some, log out and back in again so it’ll display more. If you keep seeing 100 that means there are more offers. If you want to see them all you’ll need to repeat until the number goes below 100. I’ve had over 300 offers at one point. The app still has the stupid limit of only displaying 100. Don’t count on AMEX to fix it anytime soon. The same is true of offers you’ve ADDED. The app will only display 100 of the added offers. You’ll need to keep track of them if you use the app since you might forget what you added or the terms. Use the website with a browser to be sure. It’s a pain to deal with but you could be missing out on hundreds of dollars of credit and points for cruises, hotels, and airplane tickets!
