  1. Once you meet your cabin steward, you could ask them if they have any tips - if anyone knows the quickest ways to get around the ship, they do 😊 That would also be a good question for one of the coffee chats - different crew join the CD and take live questions from passengers.
  2. I've never seen one offered, but you could check w/guest services to be sure. You might study the deck plan before you board - locate your cabin and note the path you would take to get to commonly visited places such as Guest Services, Crow's Nest, MDR, Lido, Library, etc. Then go to those places when you board and see if "your" map worked. You might start with locating your cabin from a lower deck mid-ship as that is likely where you will board. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  3. Unfortunately OBC does not show. You can call and ask for an updated booking confirmation - OBC will show on it.
  4. That is amazing for Vancouver. I hope the trend continues as that's a game changer for AK cruises. DH has all but threatened divorce if he has to endure the fiasco that is embarking in Vancouver.
  5. No, all cabins do not accommodate 3 people - many hold 2 people; the sofa does not pull out to a bed in those cabins, it's just a sofa.
  6. I also always have my bookings noted as "no upgrade" to minimize being moved out of my carefully selected cabin. After you have your TA note the bookings, ask them to send you an updated booking confirmation - it will show in the details toward the end.
  7. @BackNow I'm not able to locate the menu, but @Crew News probably has one he can share. It is a nice menu. Here's our lunch from the PG lunch menu Steak Burger Apps - crab cakes Apps - tomatoes Dessert - strawberry Pavlova Dessert - brownie w/popcorn & coffee gelato
  8. That is not correct - the Pinnacle Grill lunch menu has a steak on it; there is no need to ask for a dinner menu. It does not have the full selection the dinner menu does, but there is a steak on it.
  9. When we've seen them, they were out on deck w/the Rangers who came on board or the Crow's Nest. It may vary by ship.
  10. I know - some things we just don't learn 😉
  11. Thermalpass are purchased separately and cannot be shared.
  12. So exciting!! Lol. I'll be interested in what you learn. Aunt Donna worked at the "rest" home, as they were called back then.
  13. @Sharon in AZ yesterday's thread is locked, so I'm continuing the Limon discussion here. My family that has been there for some time is Kline. My aunt & uncle were Donna and Nick Kline; cousins that you may have gone to school w/are Joe, DaLonna & Aaron. Only Aaron still lives in Limon (in the house he grew up in), Joe lives across the country and DaLonna lives elsewhere in CO. My other family name that lived there until fairly recently was Wilson. Neither of those are my last name🫡 Also have family in Bennett. Small world.
  14. @cunnorl we used RomeLimo and CabCabRoma and were very pleased with both.
  15. Yes they were. At least it wasn't a sweep - we did manage to get 1 win 😉 Your boys are certainly deserving. I can only imagine the parades.
  16. Congrats 🏆 @cat shepard it was an ugly, painful night for my Mavs🏀
  17. Bad night for the Mavs🏀 but congrats to them for an outstanding season! Congrats Boston (that hurt a bit to say 😪)
  18. We have sailed them a couple times out of LA (San Pedro, IIRC) w/no issues. We drove each time. Enjoy!
  19. We"ve done Princess many times w/most recent just before Covid shutdown. They had already launched the medallions but not the tiers/levels of packages, so I'm no help with those. Medallions worked well, but we learned after boarding that people w/pacemakers should not use them; no issues getting a key card. We love the International Cafe - most similar comparison is Grand Dutch Cafe. I don't recall the class of ship, but there's one where the spa entrance is out in the middle of the deck and made us uncomfortable. We've always had good service and their Creme Brule was fabulous.
  20. @Sharon in AZ when did you live/work in Limon? My family has been there since at least the early 60's, probably longer. You may have gone to school w/them. @Quartzsite Cruiser I've been to Limon several times since I have family that lives there 😊 Limon is so small, who would have guessed more than one here would know of it?😎 @dfish so glad to hear you got both your main a/c and window unit working - I'm struggling w/the service company so who knows when I'll have air. The high temps w/high humidity have been brutal, especially difficult w/the recent kidney stones. 🥴 @JazzyV good to hear you have power again, prayers 🙏 for the remaining 40k who are w/o.
  21. Oh yummy - sounds like the perfect meal!! I have 1 package of purple hull peas in the freezer from a local farmers market - I'll take your message as a sign it's time to cook them 😎
