  1. Prayers 🙏 @Lady Hudson for your friend. Prayers 🙏 for the Philadelphia police officer, their fellow officers and their family. Prayers 🙏 for those impacted by the Ruidoso 🔥 🔥 and those battling it. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  2. Bon Voyage @leerathje⛴️🥂 and Happy Birthday to your father 🍰🥳
  3. Unless this is a recent change in the last few months, the Thermalpass is not discounted by pre-booking. Spa services, yes - Thermalpass, no.
  4. The final one was in the Pinnacle Grill.
  5. Ooh Chocolate Eclair Day - yes, please! @StLouisCruisers I do believe eggplant 🍆 🍠 is the new squash - I'll pass on both. A/C guy has come and gone. 🙄He did a temp fix, no idea how long it will last and it will not get us heat in the winter. He says there are parts missing and per the service contract, he's not supposed to touch it. But he thinks 100° is too hot to be w/o air, so he put in something to get it working; however, his report will include pictures of the missing parts (well, the blank space where the parts should be) and indicate that no work was done. So, I expect when we hear from the service company, we'll be given a very pricey estimate to get it properly fixed. Then another battle will ensue as to how the parts went missing and that we should not be the ones paying for them. WT F or WTH - reader's choice. The unit where the parts are missing is in the attic which is accessed through our garage - only people who have been up there are contractors sent out by the service company. So who removed them? Him or the previous contractor?🤷‍♀️ He's been gone 40 min - inside temp has dropped 3°, so currently it is cooling. Mr Nest says by 7pm it should be 71°. That flashes too quickly for me to get a picture. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  6. Exactly 🤷‍♀️ I'm good either way it's displayed, but want to see the breakout somewhere in the fine print. It's the only way a consumer can truly compare prices and it keeps the vendors somewhat honest (can't inflate the port fees & taxes).
  7. I can also smell natural gas, or rather whatever it is that's added to make it noticeable. Twice I've smelled it at our house and DH said I was nuts. Both times the gas company said there was a leak at the meter.
  8. I received emails from Princess & Oceana a couple days ago saying same thing. Says it's to comply with a new CA pricing transparency law, so I assume the others will follow.
  9. Shoulder was not happy w/the scans yesterday - had to hold my arms overhead during the scans and it was a bit beyond where my shoulder is moving. Ugh So PT focused on that yesterday afternoon. Ugh Yay the a/c still works wonderfully in their building so I focused on being cool to distract me from the pain. This morning an a/c company called saying they would be here tomorrow to diagnose our heat pump; arrival window is open to close. Really? I'm used to a 2ish hour window, but at least we're on the schedule and a step closer to having a/c. Thanks @RMLincoln for the updates on the Ruidoso fires. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  10. Hugs @smitty34877 for you, Tana and the rest of the family.
  11. +1 @kazu I was just thinking this exact thing as I was looking at your beautiful peonies.
  12. Hugs @LambKnuckles as you remember Howard today ❤️
  13. We thought they did a great job - well done and respectful.
  14. Same in our city. We don't need the big one and honestly the smaller one is probably still too big. But we kept the larger one because it's easier to roll out with little in it. The challenge now is, as others said, the stuff that doesn't fit in that people set out next to the bins - it doesn't get picked up...
  15. This is likely why we noticed a change in the chocolate we received on our last couple cruises - they worked through their supply of the HAL branded chocolates and used something else in the interim until this partnership launched. I'll happily take any yummy chocolate they want to give me.
  16. $50. You can have that deducted from the cost of the full cruise pass if you decide to upgrade.
  17. Kidney scan this morning to determine if all my "visitors" have vacated or if I'm still waiting on another round of fun. Urology appt is a week away, so I'm hoping to get the report when it's ready & not spend the week wondering. PT this afternoon - they're working on both shoulders, knee and neck plus dry needling so it's a full hour. Their a/c works very well, so it actually feels cool in there. See, always a positive if we just peel back enough layers 🫣 Thanks, everyone, for the kind words & hugs about my brother yesterday and today. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  18. Relieved today is coming to an end; it's always a tough day as it's the anniversary (seems an awkward word to use) of the day my younger brother killed himself 💔 Supposedly time heals all wounds, but this wound remains raw. When does it get easier? Maybe by year 10, but year 6 isn't it😪 Brother the Older had chicken fried steak for lunch in honor of Brother the Younger and I drank fresh lemonade. Traditions and rituals can be odd, quirky things, but if they bring us peace they're exactly the right thing. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers - it's been a tough day.
  19. Thanks for sharing the pictures; I hadn't seen them. Such devastating fires are always difficult to see; having lived in Ruidoso, they are especially heart wrenching. Prayers for all in the area and those battling the fire.
  20. DH is a HUGE Nutter Butter fan. I'll let him know he has reason to celebrate today 😊
  21. Happy Birthday @SusieKIslandGirl to your DH🍰🥳
