  1. Three great days to celebrate today - 529 accounts are a great help w/pricey education costs.

Pass on the meal (chickpeas but sounds yummy w/chicken) and drink, would try the wine, been to Anchorage once (no pictures, frustrating experience) & look forward to seeing pictures.

Yesterday was a bust - Mavs🏀 lost, so we go to game 5, trees 🌳branches and debris aplenty from the storm (dodging them added 15 min to the drive to eye Dr) and allergies again prevented the Dr from doing the procedure. So, I'm the proud recipient of a new Rx, a lecture about the evils of eye rubbing, and freshly inserted eye plugs. We'll try again in 2 weeks. 🤞the plugs help; she says she can pop them out if I don't like them. Thanks to everyone for their input during my research.

Currently 70° headed to rainy 82°. Forecast estimates worst of the rains between 10-12, so I should just miss them returning from this morning's Dr appt.

Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.

We were able to split the payment between gift cards and a credit card. And by "we," I mean a HAL phone rep & me. The website would not play nice with split payments. The website wanted to charge everything to my credit card.

This has been my experience, too - called in and HAL applied both GC and CC to a single transaction. Also done using a TA.

Updated booking confirmation correctly reflected the split payment.

  3. Hi - looks like you booked an Oceanview not an interior. There are a few interiors w/windows, but the windows are small, not full height like you will have

Although it's classified as partially obstructed, you will have a clear view straight out your windows, unlike the cabin next to you that will have a lifeboat view.

I always get a balcony but was very pleased with the Oceanview I had - the natural light and water view make a difference.

Have you looked on halfacts.com to see if there are pictures of your cabin?

...We no longer have a golf cart.  One of the people in our community buys golf carts, fixes them and sells them.  We just gave the cart away since it's probably not worth too much.  There is a place that will repair them, but that would probably cost more than it's worth.  Tomorrow if the weather is all right, we're planning on going to Waco to buy a new golf cart that runs on lithium batteries. The bonus is it's a lot cheaper than the name brand golf carts with the lithium batteries.

RIP golf cart - sounds like golf cart had a good run at 31 years. I hope you find one that serves you as well as this one did.

It’s a beautiful day on the Greek Island of Corfu. Rode up the East coast to the Northern coast and back to ship...

Thank you for once again sharing such beautiful pictures with us.

We enjoyed Corfu when we were there Nov '23 on NS - your pictures are far better!

I love how you're dining w/crew - that would really make for a special cruise experience.

Safe travels as you begin the final leg of your amazing journey.

  6. I like brisket and hamburgers and everyone definitely deserves basic rights, Good quote from Mr Byrne.

Pass on the meal (tofu) and drink, would try the wine, no pictures of Norfolk as I've not gotten out when I've been there (work not cruise). I look forward to pictures.

Hope @grapau27 and Pauline feel better soon.

    RIP Bill Walton.

🤞the eye doctor is able to do the procedure today - last visit she said my allergies were too bad and sent me home w/an Rx. They don't feel any better, so 🤷

Currently 79° which is the high for today (feels like 88°); temp should drop slightly as the rains move in. Supposed to rain all week. I can feel the 98% humidity- ugh. Just received a warning to take shelter due to poss 80mph winds and the severe weather watch is now a warning. The storm appears to be just north of us.

Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.

  7. A storm popped up a few minutes ago bringing wind💨, sideways rain 💦and pea size hail, as well as a very brief power outage. The dogs freaked out and I can't find the cat, but I'm sure he found refuge somewhere in the house.

Silver lining is temps dropped, which is nice.

When the power came back on, I was able to see the Stars🏒 are already behind 0-2. 🥴

Prayers🙏 everyone stays safe wherever you may be.

  8. @JazzyV Dry Needling is intramuscular therapy. As @Seasick Sailor said, it's similar to acupuncture in that needles are used, but go deeper into the muscles. Needles are inserted into trigger points and can be done w/or w/o stimulation (think tens unit). When I have the deep needling, I frequently get a twitch response when the needles are inserted and mostly have the stimulation as well.

This is a pretty good graphic

I have not seen any benefit from acupuncture, but have responded well to dry needling. It has done wonders with headaches from neck issues and apparently is a game changer on my frozen shoulder.
