Did you stay in a cabin you particularly liked? I'd like to make note in case we book on Oosterdam - I like those older, smaller ships.

Hi all, In case you are looking to book a Superior Suite cabin on an upcoming Splendor sailing, I just posted a review on my website. We stayed in cabin 832, but I know that 830, 834, and 844 are virtually identical. If you're interested, you can check it out here: https://www.callingallports.com/blog/splendor-cabin-tour The cabin was lovely, quite spacious, and a perfect size for our 16-night cruise in December. And it had tons of outlets, USB and North American, mainly, which cannot be said for other cruise lines. The bathroom provided more than ample space and the storage in the entire suite was abundant. The balcony was a bit narrow in depth (we've been on far deeper ones), but it was suited our needs - it was a great spot for reading a book and having a drink or small meal. Although there are many suites on Splendor that surpass the Superior in size, we found this one to be quite perfect - especially as we did not spend a lot of time in the cabin during our cruise. Hi everyone, If you're looking to stay in an aft verandah cabin for an upcoming cruise, I highly recommend 7136. It seems like it is a bit larger than some of the other aft cabins - there was a ton of room around the bed, for instance. It's a great option, thanks. If I were with them, we would be taking the train (or a flight). Although they've traveled the world, they are nervous travelers and do not enjoy solo navigation. 10 years ago, maybe, but unfortunately not this trip.

I will suggest that to my in-laws, but not sure if they want to go that route. With some health and mobility issues, they feel a car may be easiest.

The train would be a wonderful option, but there are some mobility issues that are affecting my in-laws' choice in transport. They do not want to hire a car, but feel it is the only option necessary.

I think Regent's 6pm cutoff is the right approach. It gives everyone a certain amount of freedom during the day, but holds everyone to higher standards in the evening.

Yes, I grew up with similar rules about not wearing caps, pushing in chairs, et cetera. However, etiquette is changing and some people have different views today. I just do not feel it is my place to tell other people how to dress and what to wear. I wasn't thrilled about the man wearing a 10-gallon hat at dinner. But that was his choice to wear that hat and I needed to respect that.

Pacific Rim was my favorite restaurant during our Christmas on the Canal cruise. Have recently started a YouTube channel and we recently posted our complete dining review. Not sure if it's okay to put the link, but if you search 16 Days of Luxury 5-Star Luxury Cuisine, you'll find it. I know people have different opinions towards our review, but we loved Prime 7 and Pacific Rim. Did not like Sette Mari at all.

Not sure if you're still monitoring this forum, but I was on this cruise, too! Actually during the cruise, my husband and I were filming for series of YouTube videos. The first one dropped last night. Thought all of you Regent fans (like me) would be interested. But please delete if not allowed!
