Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I was just on Crown Princess last month, and Sabbatini and Crown Grill are available via room service beginning at 5:00pm. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

  3. Oh my goodness. Thank you for updating us. Those poor pax and crew on Discoverer. That must have been frightening to some (it would be for me). What ship did they transfer to? Did Majestic show up too? And a med evac on Sapphire? I hope you get to see Glacier Bay at some point. Keep us updated, and stay safe. I'll be on her in about 10 days.
  4. Per the CDC for the sailing ending yesterday 3/6 although the numbers have not been updated since 3/3: Number of passengers who reported being ill during the voyage out of total number of passengers onboard: 199 of 2,881 (6.61%) Number of crew who reported being ill during the voyage out of total number of crew onboard: 20 of 1,159 (1.73%) For anyone currently on board, I would like to know how the ship and crew are handling this. What is different, and what are you surprised is not different? I'll be on the sailing after, and am interested in knowing what you are observing. Thank you!
  5. I'm not the poster you replied to, but wanted to chime in. The port in Cabo is inside a cove area. The ship is anchored just outside of the cove, actually directly parallel to the famous arch beach I'm sure you've seen a picture of. So you get on the tender, for a very brief ride to the pier. While I'm sure whales have entered the cove area from time to time, there is so much marine traffic I doubt they want to hang out there. Additionally, there are very strict regulations about how close marine traffic is allowed to get to whales. I'm sure the tender would avoid any area whales have been seen in, again though, it would be fairly unusual for a whale to go into the cove area. They are looking for fish, not people or marine traffic. I hope that helps!
  6. It's the final email before your cruise. For example, I'm on the 2/16 Discovery cruise, and I received this email yesterday. You have to actually click on the email, open it, and then click Pre-cruise checklist.
  7. It is my understanding that on sailings after 2/20, Princess Premier package holders will have a designated "reserved" seating area for shows. No reservations required, just a designated area for those with the Premier package.
