    Yes, "ludicrous" is subjective, and I shouldn't have used the term. Your $225 is excellent for a nice downtown hotel in August. When I booked (probably 6 months ago) at a Courtyard by the airport it was about $100 less. Not so today.

    Downtown hotels by piers are ludicrously expensive. Definitely stay near the airport at a hotel with an airport shuttle and take Seattle Express to the pier. We stay at Courtyard by Marriott or Holiday Inn Express in Tukwila.

    We'll be on Ovation in 3 weeks. No drink package, specialty dining, or excursion credits, but hey, at least we'll be in the room a couple hours earlier.

    Cabins are a crapshoot. 3:30 last September on Joy. Your cruise is likely at capacity, ours wasn't. Shows and dining won't change but be patient at the bars. Our best luck was the whiskey and mojito bars, but they have a more limited selection of drinks. Just have fun and roll with it (hopefully not literally).

    Definitely on the website. Never tried it on the app. I use the same pics for every cruise. Just upload it from my laptop, not sure if you can do it from your phone.

    I've found that posts "disappear" when they serve no useful purpose, or the post's seeming goal is to belittle or demean another person's views or opinions. Food for thought.

    Heh, yeah. I don't think the bartenders think a pocket full of $1 bills is demeaning. I certainly wouldn't.

    The Observation Lounge has a decent spread from 3-5, and also check the Surfside Grill in the far back of the buffet. I believe, but am not certain, that it is open between lunch and dinner.

    I don't recall getting a single email for final payment from RCI for our August cruise. On the other hand, I just got one from NCL that's due in December. 😆

    Some might also argue there are 12 for the US in its entirety, if you include the theoretical AoE.
