Just got one back form the Vet. They have their $250.00 charge but didn't give me any information regarding Service Dog and those fees if any.

I also sent out an email to both the address on the form and the Vet in T&C. I have not gotten a response yet.

I was thinking the same thing, why I didn't learn more French in school. I like the idea of 100 solo cabins. I would love to know more about how a bad French speaking passenger would get along.

You may try using one of the two agencies that expedite paperwork. You can Google them. It’s gonna be $90 to get this done. The one I used him short period of time. Emailed it to him on a Friday and we had the paperwork back on Tuesday. It was all done by email.

I love what Disney had done on the wish. It the set up on any of their other ships? I would like to see a gate at the entrance and maybe a bit more screening. I would like to let my SD off her lead so she can go on her own and have a bit a privacy. I found female dog like a bit more privacy when they go.

I was just on a 15 day HAL MS Rotterdam Transatlantic cruise. They have great relief are for the service dogs that were on the sailing. The safe was great. I a short time the safe was call my service dog by her name and would great both of us. We even had the captain and his wife seat down next to us a lunch and ask who things were going. The cruise line still need to learn more. I think its up to use to teach them.

I was on the MS Rotterdam in October - Amsterdam - Fort Lauderdale. This was the relief boxes they set up on Deck 4 forward. It was in a project part of the Promenade Deck but it was near some equipment rooms that did have some noise at this location.

The big take-a-way from this last cruise was the fact that the Head of Guest Relations on HAL MS Rotterdam handled all the paper work to the port for clearance of our service dog to leave the ship for the duration of the port call.

The MS Rotterdam sail I was on gave me a 11:40am boarding time I think because of having a service dog. We I arrived in front of the Amsterdam Cruise Terminal someone from HAL came out got me a person to take my bags and took me directly up stairs to the Special Assistance Desk as soon as I finished checking in I taken directly on board the ship. This was my first sailing with HAL. This cruise got me up to 2 stars and only a few more point to get to 3 stars.

My big wish is that USDA comes out with a USA Animal Passport like the EU, UK and some other countries do. I think it would make our life easier and the USDA life easier. I will be speaking with my Senators and Congressman soon about this. I am going to make copies of the EU Pet Passport and post it. I think every dog in the USA should have one. Talking the the VET in Amsterdam, I understand why they have them. If we had one then it could get excepted around the world.

BTW my SD's Vet required all paper work got through them. They sent the paper work electronically and sent it back next day service after it was reviewed and endorsed by USDA. Check with your local vet to see how they handle the paper work.

HAL cancelled all shore excursions on the Oct 23rd Panama Canal because of all the unrest right now in Panama. You may also not make if off the ship in Panama. Keep an eye out about what is going on in that country.

When we got off the cruise ship in Fort Lauderdale they didn't even ask me for any health certificates. They only want to make sure it only had dog food in my luggage not human food. I think the cruise line sent all the health info for each dog that was on board to port before we got there. We had four dog on the my transatlantic sailing. Who are you sailing with?
