  1. I will be on the Jubilee the first week of January, so looking forward to it.
  2. When on the Celebration I took no advantage of having FTTF to debark as I had a 3pm flight. I took the latest luggage tag possible and relaxed in the lounge until they called the final tags. We exited the ship just before 10am. I did use it to debark the Pride a month earlier though as we had a long drive back. We were invited to an area of the MDR and it was lightly catered with snacks and we were guided off the ship as soon as customs was cleared.
  3. I am struggling with the same issue as I have one of those rooms booked in September. I can verify that you cannot see through or over the rail when sitting and looking at videos I do not see a way to rectify that issue. I think your only view will be while standing. Everyone seems to be reporting that wind is not an issue in these rooms and that would have to be due to its inability to move through the room since the barrier is there, but I am concerned. Also, you are far from everything and will have increased movement on the tip of the ship. I think I will keep it to try it out, but I am increasingly suspecting that other balconies would be better.
  4. Tags will be available starting at the debarkation talk that the cruise director gives on the last full cruise day and then out by guest services for the rest of the day.
  5. Come on, you cannot compare two companies who profited from Covid against a company that was shut down for most of Covid just eating costs. Carnival is doing great right now post Covid. Stock will be back to $50 in three years.
  6. I absolutely loved the Excel class and the Pride was my favorite ship before this cruise. I thought the food was excellent in the main dining room, but I did find that checking in the minute it opened in the Hub App was a must for good food and service. Checking in later meant that they were just bogged down and taxed. I will have a video coming out tomorrow showing how bad seating is as center stage. There really is only about 50 decent seats in that whole venue. I find it interesting how much Carnival has changed the game with Celebration. You could have cruised a hundred times before and give a new cruiser incorrect information on the Celebration due to how different it is than existing ships.
  7. Miami was allowing priority check in at 9:10am for FTTF in April. My check in time was much later.
  8. I see myself all over his videos, but after meeting and speaking with him in Costa Maya, I see that he is in many of my videos also. He is recording here in Costa Maya with his gopro at the beginning of this video.
  9. LOL, I cannot take credit for this one, just happened to see you in a YouTube video and said hey, I know that dude.
  10. You will love the Carnival Celebration, you could not choose a better Carnival Ship. We Sailed on her in April and it was an amazing cruise.
  11. I am new to drinks on us. I am guessing this means I can sit down and start playing on a machine and order a drink. I am assuming based on my experience with Carnival that I cannot walk up to the casino bar and just get a free drink. Are there any other limits to this I should know about? Is everyone in my cabin over 21 in on this deal or just me? I have not been able to find any fine print. This offer includes $50 FunPlay and the Drinks On Us! valid for your use only while playing in the casino.
  12. I love Costa Maya and do not understand why some people do not like it. Great Pier, well themed, a little shade, a free pool, lots of shopping, a walkthrough aviary in port. Then if you want to go outside the port, the Krazy Lobster, Bacalar. Mayan Ruins. What is not to love about Costa Maya.
  13. Try the Celebration. The experience is a step above most Carnival ships now.
  14. I always choose this now and on Excel class it feels like a must. I think that you cannot check in for a table at Cucina or Chibang until late unless you have YTD. We also want a table just the two of us, so YTD works so much better for us.
  15. Everyone should go take an MSC cruise before your Carnival Cruise like we did this year. MSC makes Carnival look so good. All the food will seem amazing after them.
  16. In the past I have disliked everything Carnival produced larger than Spirit class, I do not care for the Vista or the Horizon, but the Celebration was awesome. Carnival really has hit the mark here. I booked two more Excel class cruises as soon as I got home. Jubilee in January!
  17. Check out my video series on the Celebration from our April 16th Cruise. This was one of our best cruises. Carnival has raised their bar with Celebration. I hope it stays that way.
  18. We were on the Pride in December, I tried to document the experience. The Celebration may have replaced the Pride as my favorite ship, but I still love her.
  19. Nope, still hot. This was one of our only problems on our two cruises this year, we could not get the temp down to anything we would consider comfortable for sleeping. It was bearable and would approach something acceptable by early morning, but never down to what we would have liked.
  20. We really did, I was worried that this might not be a great cruise as I feel Carnival had failed in their attempt at larger boats in the last class of ships, but they nailed it in Excel class. This was one of our best cruises. I really hope Carnival does not remove the free specialty restaurants on the Excel class ships. I think this would be bad.
  21. Lol, is it worth it. Well I love it and have had it for the last twelve cruises, but I have to admit, it may not be worth much anymore. I bought it for being able to ignore my check in time and to board after platinums, but frankly Carnival has gotten so darn good at embarkation lately that this really only saves you a few minutes.
