  1. We spent the most time at Good Spirits, right of the piazza, and loved Outriggers as well (outdoors, lots of comfy seating, and great views right off the aft!)
  2. We had fun with the group that was gathered at Outriggers jeering and booing the late comers. Unfortunately there was a Princess excursion that was held up a bit so we had to hold the ship for them and the late folk weren't in any real danger of being left behind. Reading a bit further it looks like your sailing experienced the same thing. Boo!
  3. They also had some flavoured Absolute but I don't recall the flavours - I got hooked on the Rosemary and White Peach right away.
  4. There were three flavoured Grey Gooses on our sailing (October 24 - Nov 5th) on the Regal. I can't remember what the other two were, but the Rosemary and White Peach with soda was on of my favourite "light refreshers".
  5. I enjoyed a heavily modded lavender honey latte. Normal is *way* too sweet for me, so I asked for "half or less" sweet with an added shot of espresso. Turned out pretty good most of the time.
  6. DON'T THEY KNOW WHO YOU ARE?? (tongue firmly in cheek here!)
  7. Strange - again, we saw him in the main theatre and yes they had the camera they projected on a large screen to follow his close up card trick. The theatre was packed. That little theatre is way too tiny!
  8. How curious - on ours he did it up on the fountain deck thingy in the middle. I think we ended up with a fish carving. Must have been a reason why they had to switch locales.
  9. You'll still need to select an option, even if you're just walking off with your luggage or walk off with your own arrangements and want them to take your luggage off for you (section one or two as applicable) so they can assign a walk off time.
  10. More VIP treatment! Embrace it, they definitely know who you are :D
  11. Politely ask your waiter. We ate at the MDR for breakfast once and were disappointed with the menu as well. Then we noticed that the guy at the table next to us was in fact enjoying an eggs benny. Unfortunately we had already ordered but good to know for next time!
  12. I'm pretty sure that's a more plush robe than the standard guests get as well!
  13. Yes, Alfredo's is one of the casual dining places - you can eat twice under Plus and unlimited under Premier packages, otherwise it's ala carte.
  14. I've heard of people doing that with spirits too - just order a double or triple scotch, rum, tequila, baileys, what have you.. keep them in your fridge for the next day (glass or empty water bottle).
  15. Big tip for those who do tend to approach (or exceed) your drink limit - keep an eye on your drink count on the app (somewhere there's a spot that says "packages" and you'll find the counter on there). Hubby and I would find that sometimes both our drinks would get credited to one of our accounts, sometimes they wouldn't show up at all. We only had a couple of days where we approached our limits, but I could see (for example) a couple ending up with 18 drinks counted against her package and only 10 counted against hers, with her incurring additional charges for "exceeding" her limit. Same goes for your casual dining credits. We ate at Ocean Terrace on our last day before disembarking, forgot to check our counter, and they ended up charging me an extra $14.99 because they counted me as having ate there twice (and him not at all I guess). I had to call into Princess once we got home and now am waiting four weeks for a refund cheque.
  16. If anyone likes the frozen blended drinks, the Dirty Banana is a must try.
  17. Definitely were impressed with the tv and movie line up on Princess :)
  18. You're definitely getting the VIP treatment! No towel animals for us either - I love this one!
  19. ooh the stuffed cheesy bread and the crème brule cheesecake... yum! We also got all three sides brought to the table to share amongst four of us. Then we asked for another serving of asparagus. You can *always* get more than one side, more than one appetizer, more than one desert :)
  20. Very nice - and definitely not for being a first timer with Princess (at least we never got such a gift!).
  21. On the last day of our cruise there was a sale on. Not $10 - $15 (there were a number of items for sale in that range already, I got a nice sun hat for $10 and a couple of cover up type wraps for $15 each), but some of the clothing was marked down and offered at a "buy one, get one free" promotion. Some of the other clothing was marked down as well, and some was not marked down at all. There were also things along the lines of the Princess branded cups and trinkets that were buy two, get one free. There was also a highly marked down table (I think it was 50 or 60% off) at the back of the jewelry store that day. I browsed out of curiosity but knew I was way out of my element when a couple beside me asked the price of one of the sale rings and was given a price of over $9,500. I didn't see the piece they were looking at but I don't recall being 'struck' by anything amazing on the table.
  22. From a posting on @BlerkOne's live thread, Vines casual dining option is in fact still a charcuterie board. Looks pretty good to me!
  23. I know you asked Radio, but I just saw this and I'm here so... Casual dining options are Alfredo's, Vines and Ocean Terrace (sushi). The others you mention aren't on the Regal.
