  1. Or just pronounce it anyway you desire!"……………………but only in the privacy (short i) of your home of course!
  2. And that fits perfectly with the current time with no cruises, April 29th - May 17th, sounds good for you to be on the relaunch cruise to me!!!
  3. If they are a member I would think they would indicate it on their own website, usually toward bottom of home page they indicate what consortiums they have members.
  4. Is your TA’s agency a Virtuoso member? Looking at that site that was in the link it does state Virtuoso Preferred, which would seem to perhaps there are various levels within Virtuoso? And perhaps the agency is not in the Preferred tier??
  5. Per Cruise Critic article when announced. Riviera was to be dry docked for 20 days. And at that time Marina was to be dry docked for 22 days, but of course that never took place. Assuming article mentioning the days probably actually the number of days there were between last and first post rehab cruise. So maybe actual refurbish a bit less. But this would seem to be inline with the current gap in cruises.
  6. I recall seeing it mentioned in another thread not too long ago that the downtime for Riviera was pretty much the same amount of time as the current gap for Marina you noted above.
  7. It is not the same itinerary. Just has a couple of the same ports so may give you a few ideas on the cost of the OE and OS excursions in at least a couple of your ports. But as noted best just to call them and see if they have the pdf to send
  8. It is kind of odd prices are not showing and I see the same thing. There is a Barcelona to Rome in May on Sienna that has the same ports and prices. Not sure if any of those would be some of the ports you are interested in. Perhaps check out that cruise. Otherwise it sounds like a good idea to call O and request the pdf with the pricing if they have it yet. This most likely will be the initial Marina cruise after retrofit and perhaps that is reason for delay??
  9. Well if you are $2400 ahead, why bother with the excursions?? Continuous gagging would probably not be good for your health.
  10. I’ve never been on an Oceania excursion with 60 people on a bus. At most 25-30.
  11. I just wish I understood the rant. Read them a few times and really not sure. Just thinking someone not understanding the Oceania reps explanations? The TA? I know my change could not have been easier. 5 minutes on phone with the rep and all done and updated invoice shortly thereafter.
  12. That will be nice! A first hand experience of her old days and revival back to back. I’ve been on Marina once before and have two in 2024.
  13. That is just an assumption based upon the cruises out there. The gap indicated could also perhaps be a private charter?? Until Oceania makes a formal announcement it is all conjecture. Of course, that doesn’t slow us down here as I am sure you saw on the SimplyMore threads and many more!
  14. All indications are pointing to April 29th to May17th 2024 for its retrofit based on the current sailings for Marina.
  15. As also noted above. Since you just wanted to see what was available, don’t log into your account. Just get to yours and any cruise via the Find a Cruise button. Once in the desired cruise, click on the various Ports.
  16. Thanks! I see where they do a private one where pick you up at port and see the sights and will drop you off at hotels at Heathrow. Could definitely be an option as we are planning to fly out the following day after disembarking.
  17. Sounds great! This originated in Southampton? Assume one of their private tours?
  18. ?? Yes, they started a few days ago a Summer Sale. It is for 72 cruises and apparently your cruise is available with this sale. They have always had sales in the past and will continue to do so. No different than having sales in the past with OLife. And only you can make the decision.
  19. Perhaps at the beginning all changes are/were requiring supervisor sign off. When we called to change for a cruise in July 2024, our O rep said we would be able to do it but she had to send it to her supervisor for final approval/processing. We then received all the updated information within an hour. Our cruise and specifically our category was not wait listed.
  20. That’s nice they were confident J had no intention of going on a rampage that last night on the cruise!! Probably figured you were too busy packing!!! Just kidding by the way. 🤣
  21. Assuming those that are having the huge savings now are on cruises covered by the Summer Sales event.
  22. Assuming the Barcelona to Rome? If so, when I look at the cruise and click on the ports it is loading the excursions. However they are not including the pricing for some reason. But if you just want to see what is being offered it may give you an idea at least. It is odd that there is no pricing. Our cruise for July 2024 includes the pricing.
