I use Chrome also, although it's starting to get bloated IMO, but anywho. That was the browser that on one computer, it just didnt work. Updating, restarting doing all the stuff, finally cleared something, and it started working.. It drove me bonkers lol

We LOVE our lanyards.. i know some people hate them, but from our Disney days we always had lanyards with pins to trade on them. So lanyards were a no brainer for us.. If they are going to be in a different room, then the non surge power things are awesome, and since they arent crazy priced, I'd get both US and EU style. There are certain things we bought and took and wont again, and dont think there was really anything that we wished we had taken, which was nice.

OK how about this.. If you try it on multiple browsers on multiple systems and you are having an issue, it's probably NCL's skillz... If you works on one browser, but not another, something got glitched on the one browser be it cache / cookies / browser needs updated / some other stupid setting that you'll just have to figure out.

Sure fire = bad, but pot smoke is just horrible. They just legalized it here in Ohio so am sure going to have to smell it lots more on people. I dont know if they really understand how much that stuff stinks.. And how much it lingers. Sure cig smoke isnt any fun, but would rather have that then pot smell..

if it's not working in a certain browser it's PROBABLY an NCL issue. Now I did have one time I think I needed to clear out cookies for NCL or something... But it's normally just their amazing site that has issues..

And if you are soda / pop enjoyers, dont be afraid to ask for cans and a cup of ice. Much better than gun..

They had them out "some" last thursday... Not on all stairs all decks which was weird lol.. Or.. maybe they were already all used up.... I cant see that though.

Not all ships have the vibe and some are set up differently. There are some that are HUGE then you have the Escape which is pretty small.. On a bigger vibe I cannot answer how quick the service would be on busy days.. On the escape, 2 guys kept up with us pretty well.. Probably most folks I saw up there was either sail away or last day. Sail away bar was pretty much full and probably 25% maybe 30% of the chairs were occupied.. It really is only good if you want a quiet, pretty much empty place that you can get a drink easily, get to know a few folks better. And are willing to take the chance if windy, wont be open.. For sure not for everyone!!!

ya'll rocking and rolling more than we did last week.. we were blessed with GLASS seas for about 90% of the cruise.. Even then was only about 6 footers (at worst) for last day or so..

It was funny, we were the cruise before yours 12/2-9 and it seemed like every time you walked the 678 there was something added for the holiday season... at first was just the tree at the bottom of the stairs where the chandelier is. The garland along the stairs and the balcony areas, then trees in the atrium.. then.. it was kinda cool.

Wow, lots more responses to this post than I was expecting.. lol.. Love to hear how everyone cruises and as stated, it's awesome there are so many ways you can put together a perfect trip for YOU!! Couple things re:thermal spa Dont get me wrong, it was amazing the time I used it, I just dont see the value in it, like some dont see the value is for example the vibe.. Also, if (when) we go on an alaska cruise we WILL have a balcony for that trip!!!! And I will try to figure out which side of the ship gets more views lol..

The vibe, while it is a crap shoot, I just dont see use NOT getting it IF the ship has it.. Not that it was horrible to get a drink normally, even busy times IF you didnt mind looking for that "sweet spot" that wasnt busy.. The vibe... just cant say enough lol.. After we do an interior (yes we are wanting to try that) that will tell us for sure if that "economical" is for us or if we would at least need a balcony.. Or we'll start interior and just see if we get lucky on an upgrade offer.. /shrug lol..

We (I) went overboard because I wanted my wife to have the most options to her.. But afterwards, she's like I'd be fine in a small room and deal with the transporter tube shower to be able to spend lots less money.. Her fun was watching "Live TV" as she called it.. She would find a nice comfortable chair in the atrium, get her drink and just... watch the trivia or game shows, or contests, or music, or.... whatever.. She 100% thoroughly enjoyed herself doing that lol.. Granted we did get to watch the bonus deal or no deal where a 10 year old boy and his grandma cleared the board and won $1000.. The place went crazy!

Our room was always serviced, and I felt sorry for Michael, as I'm an early bird, my wife isnt. So there were days when you know he was just wishing the room would empty lol.. We saw him a couple of times, and it was fine.. I wasnt expecting anything crazy out of housekeeping, and it was fine.. Nothing exceptional, nothing bad at all. Only complaint was we did ask for extra towels and got them, but maybe he thought we just wanted extras THAT DAY because the next day was back to normal amounts.. We suffered thru it though. We were spa club balcony and took me days to realize we had a container of water and a bottle of something that was "ours" had no price tag on it lol.. left the bottle, took the water.. Got little desserts one day and cookies another.. Cookies were hard to come by on the ship lol.
