  1. You mean YOU don’t need Internet and that’s great for you. Some people do. My last sailing we were without our young children. Bet your butt we needed internet so we could connect with them. Others may need to work. Some people get enjoyment just surfing and relaxing, and to not have internet would mean a less enjoyable experience.
  2. What I dislike about this class of ships is how “cast system” it feels. I feel like we are going backwards with the haves and have nots. The Haven takes up a good third of this ship, at least. Most people absolutely cannot afford Haven, so we are left feeling like steerage on Titanic - squished in. I think problems on this ship could be solved if so much of the ship wasn’t reserved just for the well to do (that can probably afford to Viking or more luxury brands.)
  3. Hi all! We are looking to do a 7 day Norweigian Fjord cruise summer 2025. After a ton of research, Celebrity Apex really does, hands down, offer the best itinerary. They are visiting 2 UNESCO sites that will no longer be accessible to cruise ships after 1/1/26. My other option is Royal Carribbean. It will still be beautiful - but the itinerary will not pack the same once in a lifetime punch as Apex. My dilemma - we will be traveling with our two 10 - almost 11 year olds (at time of sailing) twins. My kids do not really like kids clubs, it’s a colder itinerary so I don’t think water slides are that big of a consideration. They aren’t loud or obnoxious, but they are kids, and I also don’t want them to be bored or judged by others. Apex just looks so fancy. Will my kids be completely out of place? Should I just stick with RCI and the less desirable itinerary because I know they will fit in on board? Help a girl out! We have only ever done Carnival, RCI, and NCL - all of which I know cater to kids. Will we be fine with Celebrity?
  4. We are going to Roatan in March. I’m not very concerned. We will literally be in port for 1 day - like 8 hours total. Roatan is my co-workers fave vacation spot. She goes almost yearly for scuba diving for like a week. She doesn’t worry abt Malaria for an entire vacation, so I’m not going to stress it either.
