Agree. IMO, only if you're wearing shorts and T shirts and are D+ to take advantage of the Wash n Fold laundry perk for the entire cruise. And not packing any personal toilterie items.
We also cruise with Princess and have yet to step foot in one of their laundromats. Most recent Enchanted 27 March - 6 April Caribbean cruise. For us better things to do with our time than doing laundry.
I stand by what I said. What others post on CC has nothing to do with the cruise lines PCS. Which this thread is about. Not saying some of what is shared on CC positive, negative experiences, opinions isn't good BTW info. I never had a staff member say to us, don't forget to mention me on CC as it will help me.
We were on the Enchanted 27 March - 6 April 2024. First time on the Enchanted. We really liked the ship and the staff. Don't let the smoking lounge, AKA casino be a negative for you. Unfortunately the ventilation system for the casino doesn't do the job it should. The smoke smell does drift into surrounding venues. We noticed the smell in the forward (close to the casino) seating sections of Crooners but not in the mid or aft seating (close to the bar) sections of Crooners. There is ways to avoid the smell. We aren't gamblers so we always avoided walking thru the casino. We would walk thru Take Five or used another deck. Bingo is held in the Princess theater. Enjoy your Enchanted cruise and judge for yourself. 🍻
We only use the W n F laundry perk (both RC and Celebrity) for underwear and socks. And even at that we really don't need to as we both over pack on those items. To be honest, we over pack on all clothes items.
IMO, RC CAS and Celebrity's CC perks/benefits are a lot better than Princess CC perks/benefits. At least comparing Princess CC Platinum to Celebrity's CC Elite and Elite Plus and to RC CAS Diamond and Diamond Plus.
Our first exposure to the medallions was on our recent Enchanted cruise. 27 March - April 6. Was skeptical about them pre cruise. During the cruise, great. And we didn't even use the medallions to their fullest capability. Post cruise, wish Celebrity and RC would go with this technology.
Just making the comparison where IMO, Celebrity CC is much better for that than Princess CC. A nice touch for a couple of hours. Elite and above. That would depend on your Princess CC tier level. Should be Platinum and Elite get at no charge drinks in the lounge during the CC HH.
Also Celebrity's CC HH drinks from 5 to 7 PM is a plus (no charge) if you don't purchase a Beverage Package. Celebrity's CC priority tendering at tender ports. 90/240 minutes of complimentary internet. We like the Princess CC gathers every evening for CC HH. I think it stinks you are charged for drinks. BP works great for that instead of paying for the drinks at the event. Celebrity did away with the CC HH in a lounge in the evening for awhile but has brought the CC HH back in a lounge but not for every night. We like the differences and similarities between Princess, Celebrity and RC.
Princess has the Plus and Premier Beverage Packages. Better than Celebrity's current Classic and Premium Beverage Packages. Princess has more evening entertainment than Celebrity. Princess uses the medallions instead of SeaPass cards. Celebrity's loyalty program is a lot better than Princess. You can't go to your cain when you first get on a Princess ship. Cabins open up at ~1:PM. Smoking is allowed in the Princess casinos at all times. Our experience with service is the same. Food, subjective. Princess ships have shower curtains and not glass doors on their cabin showers.
