  1. Based on this thread, his workload may just have increased. 😉
  2. Agree about the call center staff. I also do all my own leg work (I'll bet most do). Having a good TA or CVP also is a plus when it comes to making changes to a booking that only a CVP or TA can do. Ironically the CVP for our September Edge cruise is, ext. 44148.
  3. The CC loyalty perks/benefits are a lot better on Celebrity compared to the CC loyalty perks/benefits on Princess. But we book based on itinerary not tier levels or cruise lines.
  4. We always did presupper drinks and a snack in the Vista Lounge on our recent Enchanted cruise. Aft elevators right there to head down to the Amalfi MDR. DMW. We found all the elevators on the Enchanted slow.
  5. IMO, this is a fleetwide problem that has never been addressed. Disappointing still an issue on a new ship.
  6. I feel sorry for all of us affected by smokers not complying. Since the casino staff are contractors I wonder if they are more reluctant not to say anything (?). Now that I have ranted on long enough about this, I realize the problem won't be going away. We do note this on our onboard midcruise survey and our PCS. Like I said we have found ways to minimize our exposure. We aren't like some that fake a cough and wave their arms around like windmills when around smokers. One great thing about Celebrity cruises. No inside smoking, fleetwide.
  7. Some intinaries and ships are more appealing to others. Personal preference. We wouldn't. Personal preference. Why book only a 7 day cruise when you can make it a 14 night cruise? Of course, personal preference.
  8. We didn't see the signage but we aren't gamblers so we quickly found other routes to avoid the casino so not be affected by the smoke smell. Like mid elevators/stairs and Take Five. Crooners always stunk because of those smoking in the casino and poor ventilation. We always had our pre supper drinks and snacks in the Vista Lounge. Why would you feel badly for those that refuse to voluntarily comply? Not us!
  9. No signage on our 27 March - 6 April 2024 Enchanted cruise at either entrance. We all know how well Princess enforces a lot of their policies. I blame Princess for not enforcing the policy, especially if there are signs advising when and where smoke is allowed. Not the smoker. The smoker should and needs to comply if there is signage and not have to be told. Kinda like those very few smokers that ignore the no smoking on the balcony policy.
  10. Our March 2017 JOS cruise doing a B2B. TAD lunch was in the MDR for all B2Bers and we all were treated to wine with lunch. White and red. Even refills. Haven't experienced that since then. Not even with Celebrity. 🍷🙂
  11. Our last B2B RC cruise was March 2022 on the Explorer and our B2B lunch was in the MDR. Not open to new boarders.
  12. Green line for those that have completed all 8 pre cruise steps in the app and have their medallion mailed to them. Blue line for those that haven't completed all 8 pre cruise steps in the app. The steps not completed will need to be done at the embarkation center and then you will receive your medallion. Or if you've completed all 8 pre cruise steps but don't have your medallion mailed to you, you go to the blue line at the embarkation center.
  13. I agree. I have a feeling that some will complain about the MDR they are assigned to according to their dining preference.
  14. Also if there is a B2B meeting (usually a day or two ptior to your TAD) I recommend you attend. Good info and not allo B2B cruises are done the same. Remember each leg is two different cruises. Nothing carries over. Your account for the first leg will be closed out. Any nonrefundable OBC for the first leg must be spent or you will lose it. As @OCSC Mike said you'll receive a detailed letter a day or two before your TAD explaining everything.
  15. There's the Solarium. Open to any class of cabin. Adult only venu. No additional charge.
  16. Our muster station showed on the app for our 27 March Enchanted cruise prior to boarding the ship. I checked the app in our pre cruise hotel the morning of our cruise.
  17. No box to be checked on the app (before boarding) on any of our 7 Celebrity cruises since 2022. Didn't need to watch it again on the TV. Last two Celebrity cruises were September/October 2023. I 'll let you know when we complete our September Celebrity cruise.
  18. Kudos to Princess for shutting down Churchills smoking lounges. I won't wager on the casino ever being smoke free. Princess needs to shut down the smoking lounge, aka casino when gambling isn't allowed. I blame Princess for this and not the smoker. Provide your source, cruise ships have to provide smoking outside areas. Remember the Carnival Paradise? A complete non smoking ship, but that failed. Not because they weren't complying with a written law. Smokers should have limited outside smoking areas. IMO, smokers already have a few great places to smoke with great views and bar service.
  19. Is there signage in the casino stating that? I never saw any signs on the Enchanted the few times we walked thru the casino. You better tell Princess that. Recently on the Enchanted and the casino was a smoking lounge that at times allowed gambling.
  20. When is your cruise? Download the Celebrity app. Create an account on Celebrity's website. Approximately 60 days prior to your cruise date your Xpress will be available to print. Approximately 45 days prior to your sail date you can select a check in time. This not a boarding time. Approximately 30 days prior to your sail date your luggage tags will be available to print.
