  1. Cabin Number: 7105 Ship: Journey Month/Year Sailed February 2024 Would you choose this cabin again: Yes Is noise an issue: No Balcony size: Standard Any other comments: Nice location towards centre/aft of ship. Noticibly less movement than at front of ship.
  2. It seems Azamara are "trialing" different price increases on different ships. We've just returned from a Cruise on Journey where as I understand it the price of drinks packages had increased on board although dining packages remained the same ($85 for 3 table package and $95 for Chef's table). Elsewhere (I believe Quest) the prices of drinks packages remains the same but dining packages have increased. I guess the bad news for all of us is that the price of both dining and drinks are likely to increase across the fleet soon and Azamara are testing the customer base to see how much they can increase packages by. If this is the case I would also expect the price of "Experience More" packages to increase unless the aim is actually to encourage more people to purchase these rather than just individual components.
  3. We bought an experience more package a few days before we set sail. Once on board we were told that as we’d already bought excursions we could spend the OBC any way we wished not just on Spa or Excursions as is specified with package
  4. I would have booked the ultimate drinks package without really thinking about it on our next cruise mainly for the wine. We almost certainly won’t do this now.
  5. Currently onboard Journey. Bought indulgence package just before we boarded. Price was the same as it had been for the last few months. One of the nice surprises was onboard credit included which should have been $700 for excursions and $250 for spa was changed to $950 that can be spent on anything with no restrictions. Another nice surprise was “Atlas Cocktails” are available in The Den. On a less positive note a few of the wines advertised in the ultimate package are not available and the internet is ok but pretty slow
  6. Obviously can’t talk about price increases on Quest but boarded Journey yesterday, Chef’s table and the dining packages were the same as they’ve been for the last few months

  8. No it’s been the same price for months. The price I’m seeing is £’s as in am the uk but pretty sure it equates to $95 for 3 table tour.
  9. For our up coming cruise on Journey the 3 and 4 table packages haven’t changed in price

I understand the "unlimited wifi" is unlimited in the minutes you can use it but is quite slow, suitable for email etc but nothing that may need a wider bandwidth i.e streaming and live calling. The $7.95 upgrade gives access to faster (and more reliable) broadband. However no broadband at sea is totally reliable.
  11. Has anybody had any success in paying for excursions with OBC from experience more packages? I've tried to pay for excursions using the excursion OBC twice with Azamara and they say it's not possible to do this before we board which is frustrating to say the least! Is this just one of those situations where not all of the telephone agents are the same and I should keep trying? If not and this really can't be done in advance (which seems to have little point to me at least) has anybody got a workaround to this situation? Thanks in advance

    Thanks to all who replied to my initial question, I meant to update this before now. I spoke to both Azamara and eventually my TA. Azamara couldn’t help as we were booking through a TA. However they did provide me with booking confirmation showing the price we had paid for the cruise. As TA had put a package together they had not been able/willing previously to give me a breakdown of costs and we just had the overall bill for the holiday. Eventually the TA got back to me but the price of the upgraded cabin was too expensive. Needless to say I have learnt a few lessons from this experience.

    By buying add ons from Azamara directly I was able to get booking confirmation's and other paperwork from Azamara that hasn't been available through my TA. Currently I have to say that dealing with Azamara is lot simpler than my TA. I suspect we will be swapping TA's for our next adventure!

    Many thanks all I'm giving the TA a ring today and I'll try Azamara after if I get no joy. TA's advertised prices for the same package we have but with a CC suite are not encouraging but we'll see.

    Thanks I was afraid of that as looking at the cruise on the TA's website the Suites look significantly more expensive than directly. I'll ask the question of them anyway but don't think I'll get the value I was hoping for.

    I'm looking for some specific advice. We're booked into a Veranda Cabin on Journey in February. Final payment has been made and we originally booked through a TA. I've noticed cabin prices have come down and was wondering whether it was possible to upgrade our cabin to a CC Suite? If so would we have to do this through the TA or could I contact Azamara directly to do this? Any and all advice gratefully received.

  20. We’ve had an excursion booked (and not paid for) saved on the booking portal for two weeks which is still there. We intend to pay for excursion and other packages once we’ve paid the final valence in a couple of months
  21. We're booked into Cabin 7105 on Journey in February. Has anyone any up to date(ish) information on this cabin please as I can only find information around 2013. Many thanks
  22. Many thanks for this. We're travelling on Azamara for the first time in February and my wife needs a Gluten free diet. We have seen there are Gluten Free options on the menus but they seemed to be limited so it's great to know that here needs will be catered for properly and she can have the same experience and choice as the rest of us.
