According to everything I've read, Odyssey is the only Quantum class with the smoking section on the port side. I haven't been on the ship myself, just trying to help but if anyone who has actually sailed her can confirm, even better.

According to cruisedeckplans, your cabin is right above the smoking section on Deck 5...

If it's from your travel agent, you should have a page listing the complimentary dinner for 2 in your final cruise documents. We had the following exceptions on our choices: Specialty Dinner For 2Enjoy a complimentary dinner for two in one of our specialty restaurants onboard. All specialty restaurants valid except Izumi Hibachi, Teppanyaki & Chef’s Table. Venues vary by ship. Gratuities are included. Alcoholic beverages and sodas are not included and are available at an additional cost. We made our reservations as soon as we boarded for Chops Grille and it was good for any night. BTW, this was on the Ovation so sister ship to Odyssey.

Don't forget that regular Lavazza coffee is free in all the venues. You only have to pay for specialty Starbucks drip coffees etc.

I wasn't doubting you so thanks for the update. You learn something new every day and I'll watch out for this in the future. Would hate to lose the ability to reprice over the OBC. This means we shouldn't redeem any RCL CC OBC until after the final payment date when no repricing is possible anyway.

This is odd. Why would this void your ability to reprice your cruise prior to final payment date? Just curious.

Depends on the ship and your neighbors. We were in a connecting balcony on the Ovation OTS and didn't hear a peep from them the entire week or from anyone else for that matter. There were 2 connecting doors, one in each cabin so I think that might have helped with noise suppression.

Somewhat related note, I've had TSA check my carry-on due to a forgotten handle from a tripod. It was unscrewed from the body and on x-ray looks almost identical to a screwdriver. Incredibly and luckily, I was allowed to bring it on board. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Was on Ovation in May of this year. Had dinner at the Solarium Bistro (still complimentary), booked via the website, and most items at Fish & Ships were free. Lobster was of course the exception.

Fully agree. There are so many people in this world who suffer from Boiling Frog Syndrome. Rest assured, RCCL was not merely asking for opinions about a hypothetical situation on charging for pizza without bean counters behind them. As usual, there were folks willing to accept yet another cut, number 404 of 1000, who would continue to accept these charges for things that were at 1 time included in the price of a cruise.

Bottom line, vote with your money. I have a 2 cruises booked for next year and if they implement this Sorrentos charge, these will be the last 2 with RCL for a long time.
