We will be on the Discovery Princess May 4th from Vancouver. I am prone to sea sickness. Hoping that the seas will be calm in the inside passage. Isn’t this usually the case. Calmer than the Caribbean? Thanks in advance Crusin Candy

I googled, May was one of the best months. It is suppose to be the driest and less buggy. We have booked first week in May on the Discovery Princess.

We will be sailing on The Discovery Princess inside passage in May. Our first Alaskan cruise. I have read that you see land a lot on the Alaskan cruises. We were wondering if you see villages or townships built near the water as you cruise to different ports? Thanks in advance.

We are going on our first Alaskan cruise, leaving out of Vancouver. We need a decent hotel near the ports ( hopefully walking distance to port). Thought about the Days Inn. But, the reviews are terrible. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I am aware that you have to purchase internet for your cabin. My question is, is it available anywhere on the ship for free. Been a few years since we cruised. I remember there were Internet cafes and some areas on the ship where you could pick it up. I’m guessing NO. 🤣 now since there is a charge.
