Thanks all for the replies. Apparently Windstar has a request form for early disembarkation that usually needs to be submitted 30 days in advance. I called a couple of days ago to make the request and received my approval yesterday.

Thanks so much for the reply! I called WS and they submitted a form. The WS rep said it usually needs to be submitted 30 days in advance. All that said, I received my approval yesterday via e-mail. Side note: When I initially asked my TA about this, she did not contact WS. Instead, she said it would be no problem.

Hello, I just booked the Legendary Winter in the Mediterranean on Windstar for next month. Our last port is Citavecchia. We arrive Saturday morning at 8 AM and can leave the boat to tour, etc but our official disembarkation isn’t until Sunday at 8 AM. I need to fly back home on Sunday and was hoping to disembark early or even the night before so I can catch an early flight. Does anyone know if the Italian authorities will allow this? Thank you in advance for your insights!

Hi - Just booked the Legendary Winter in the Mediterranean cruise in February. Our last port will be in Citavecchia/Rome. We arrive Saturday morning for a day of optional tours in Rome. The scheduled disembarkation is the following day at 8 AM. Does anyone know if we will be allowed to disembark earlier? I need to catch a flight home on Sunday and would prefer to disembark earlier if possible. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you so much for posting this. I just booked the Feb 11 cruise from Barcelona to Rome. Barcelona, Nice and Marseilles will be first time visits.
