Quite frankly I am surprised there isn't a mutiny. I would definitely be issuing a charge back on my credit cards, if they can't give a reasonable explanation. Luckily I haven't paid my cruise off for NCL yet. And may just let them eat my deposit if they are going to be pulling this crap.

Without an honest explanation, I would be contacting my lawyer, or throwing the captain in the Brigg!

I am wondering what our alternate plans would be if we happen to run into a Hurricane during our cruise in late August. I have read rhat the entire itinerary can be changed. What would be the alternate ports?

I have been seeing conflicting reports about the Sauna situation on the Norwegian Sky for my August 21st sail. Some people have said it doesn't exist, and some say it does. If it does exist, are day passes available?

From what I had been quoting around, with the actual tips and everything included, the ending price is almost 2x of what the "advertised" price is.

Has anyone ever adjusted their DSC? How do you go about doing it? I am a huge fan of extremely large tips, or extremely low tips (ranging from 0-100%+) for good service. I would prefer to allocate my tips according to where I get good service and give cash.

This is why we picked a hotel inbetween. The riverfront seems like a pretty popular spot for my route.

Are those reservations to be able to eat at one of the two restaurants on pinel island? The second like you provided (lekaribuni) appears to he for some sort of resort that is requiring me to have a 7 night stay.

When we stop in San Juan on our cruise, we will be there from 7 to 4. Has anyone done the tour if this Rum distillery? Is it worth our time if we go? Thank you for the help

I am with you - I am working on planning our port day in St. Martin, and would like to know the most cost effective/best way to get to Pinel Island.

This sounds so pleasant! If you don't mind me asking, what was his pricing like? We are traveling with two, and trying to be cost conscious about the whole trip, pinching pennies wherever we go!

Thank you for the response. That is what we were concerned about, is it being a "Jam em all in" type excursion. We attempt to avoid crowds, so we will likely just try and do some exploring of our own. The eco tour does look to be in line with what we will want to do. However, we are still trying to figure out if renting a vehicle and just driving to a secluded beach would be a better idea for this island.

Has anyone done this excursion? It looks to be a pretty cost effective way to see the whole island. I was just wondering what kind of boat will this be on, and what the tour will be like. The NCL website isn't offering me too much guidance.

I am really not trying to beat a dead horse on this one, but does anyone have input on this? We are looking at things to do in Antigua, and this seems to be a very cost effective way to see the whole island (cost is 129 + 129 - 50). Does anyone know what kind of boat this is?

That is what I had figured. Car rental will be around $100... Or we could both rent motorcycles, which is pretty high up on our list of things to do. Are there any recommended motorcycle rental companies?

We are looking at going to Hull bay when we get to Saint Thomas at the end of August for the day, and we were wondering how readily available a taxi is both to and from Hull Bay. I have seen people say getting a taxi back is kind of a challenge, and we definitely don't want to get stranded out there.
