With tomorrow being Remembrance Day in Canada I want to thank all of the veterans here who have served, no matter their country. I snapped this photo the other day of our local World War One Memorial, a hamlet of less than 300 people today. The sun set a perfect shadow. Those that are gone are not forgotten and will always be honoured.

47 years ago tonight the SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank near WhiteFish Bay with her crew of 29. At approximately 7:10 p.m., when Arthur M. Anderson notified Edmund Fitzgerald of an upbound ship and asked how she was doing, McSorley reported, "We are holding our own." She was never heard from again. No distress signal was received, and ten minutes later, Arthur M. Anderson lost the ability either to reach Edmund Fitzgerald by radio or to detect her on radar. She and her crew were immortalized in a folk classic song by Gordon Lightfoot, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Weren’t Pinnacles in the suite lounge before Covid?
A&L_Ont replied to Tenderpaw's topic in Royal Caribbean International
On normal sailings they are allowed. I have a Pinnacle friend on this sailing and she said there were 212 on this cruise. If they were in the suite lounge where would the suites guests go. From what she said the Bistro and Boleros have been great options for a Pinnacle heavy cruise. -

Welcome back home. Thankfully the gentleman came through amazingly. Sounds like you had @Sea Dog2.0 on the flight with you. -
Some will probably take the $5 from their auto tips funds. At least the butter would still be warm. 😉🤢

Let me second that sentiment. -
Please try not to worry. My mom had her’s done in 2020 at 79 and my MIL the same year at 72. They each had both of them done on the the same day. My mom recovered quicker, 3 days almost back to full normal and my MIL took closer to a week. They both would have used for mother’s description. Glad to hear your ankle is feeling better.

That’s why I went with texting.

Great photos. I noticed the IG account has the same name as your user name on CC. I followed to see them quicker. Very interesting to how they did the lift. -
Texting works very well.

What's it cost to make Pinnacle?

Yes, to all of this. On a side note, I guess that’s there are so many drug stores in ports of call, especially Mexico. 😉😁 -

That is a big gaff on my part. I have not been a frequent follower of this thread. Had I seen the photo you just posted I would not had made my comment earlier. I was looking only which Lloyd shared, to which showed a frame structure being lowered by a crane. To me, it appeared to have no glass in it. That being said, the image you just shared with me clearly will be lowered onto the ship at some point, with the glass intact. As I said before, it was my mistake. I guess I should follow this thread more closely as she is getting closer to completion. -

I cruise for the joy of it, not to count the dollars spent on an end goal.- 154 replies

From looking at the photo I don’t think the glass is inserted/installed in the structure.
