Animal day at the farm. Lucy was at the vet. She doesn’t seem too bothered. I also liberated a painted turtle while cutting the road side ditch. I didn’t want to run it over with the 120hp tractor. I placed it across the road by our neighbours new pond. Owen came along and took the photo. It was also very windy if you couldn’t tell.

And you have at least one more now that you are home. Glad you got to see them play.

Imminent RCL Entertainment Cutbacks

Agreed, but if they don’t want to payout it’s one way. This is the company that raised tips, and cut back services so they do go backwards. -

Agree with you @time4u2go If needed they could change the name and the process slightly, or go back to in person muster. -

I agree. Add to that he did not announce his departure and RC had a replacement immediately taking his spot. Had he left on his terms he would have announced his departure with a glowing review of his replacement. One can only hope that his leaving was not due to a medical/health issue. -

Thanks to community group phone chats we discover that Princess was visiting us from a farm a mile away. She’s a year old female who took a road trip from neighbours to the east. They came and picked her up, and Lucy was happy to see her go. Better yet, they also left us some maple syrup from our trees that we let them tap. A win-win for Lucy and us.

We had a bit of Mother’s Day drama here that has slowly percolated since Friday morning. We found this cat sleeping in Lucy’s chair Friday morning. Lucy was away on patrol until Saturday afternoon so no issues, right away. We didn’t feed the newbie and there was water to drink in the puddles. We didn’t know how they’d do with each other, but we saw this late morning today. The black cat was loud with meows when Lucy was further away but got quiet when she got closer. We had what we call a Mexican Stand-off most of the day. At one point I even had peeping eyes looking in.
