  1. same...like really upset. Weather is one thing, but scheduling issues would make it much worse
  2. I'm late on this, but we sailed last October 1st and brought our middle school aged child. We usually take him out for a week for vacation, we figure the very start or very end of the school year is the least amount of actual learning being done, lol.
  3. Any word on the one in Miami opening? They kept saying late 2024... but now I hear it's just going to wait until World America debuts. I sail in December, was hoping to check it out
  4. Oh, Absolutely- I will always have a pair of pants, and honestly, I'll probably wear them either way for most meals- but if we are getting back on the ship right from the port and rushing to dinner, or its just REALLY hot and I've seen some shorts over the week, then I'll feel a little more inclined to wear them.
  5. I'm not at a funeral or wedding... I'm on vacation. I get it, I'm not wearing my beach attire, but I'm also not dressing up for dinner unless I feel like it. And yes, I wear hats to church events and out to dinner... wearing hats indoors is not as uncommon and disapproved of as it was years ago. I might throw pants on if it seems like everyone else is, but if I see some shorts- I'm wearing shorts.
  6. Yep... or a limit- I think Royal allows a certain amount, then charges a % to cash it out
  7. I love that they include it. I no longer drink, but got the easy plus package as part of the cruise price, like mentioned above, so I know that it is included in that. On other lines, the N\A beers are usually not included in the Non alcoholic drink packages, which stinks.
  8. I'm getting caught up-- but yes, that little strip of island in Nassau has been bought up by Royal Caribbean and they are building a beach club there... It's hard to see in this pic, but it'll have like 3 pools, some areas for food and of course lots of loungers.... Also, you are now on the cruise I was originally booked for- when we booked our first MSC cruise almost TWO years ago, we had Sep 28 as our departure date. But due to some other cruises popping up this summer, we used our free Fantastica date change and pushed it back to December. I hope you have another great week and look forward to following along!!
  9. Multiple people have posted that crew have told them that is the plan... building it out for World America, but would be able to handle two of the smaller class ships eventually.
  10. So I finally watched the whole episode, the dance off... lol. But it's fun, whatever- we aren't watching a documentary. I did love the little homage to the Love boat at the end, the crew lined up and everyone who was featured in the show thanking them for helping them have a great cruise. Didn't expect the doctors to have a little fling in the first episode- they usually build up to that stuff!
  11. They probably grew up watching the Love boat, lol
