Our forecast for tonight. Hockey game at 9:30 tonight at the tip of the arrow. We live near the base of the arrow. Normally we’d be home by midnight. Heavy winds and snow are the call. Fingers crossed that the game is cancelled. Tomorrow I have to have my mom to the hospital at 7:30 for her hip surgery consultation. It’s going to be a long night and day for me.

Anyone on the ship can now book barefoot beach cabanas. It changed shortly after Covid.

I think I already know the answer, but are you and your guest staying in a GS or larger? If so you two could get in without wearing a cabana wrist band. There is nothing stopping you from joining them in their cabanas. I’ve never heard of an extra guest getting in over and above if they are not in a suite.

We have eaten here, but I forgot the name of the restaurant. Your photos have brought it all back to me. Thankfully I have not hit the free shot of tequila, with only one visit.

All you will get is guessing, as no one knows the cruisers financial situations. Maybe you want to ask that question here in approximately 200 - 250 days from now. Some will know what they are doing and others might just wing it. Whatever their technique, it will reflect the way they have always lived their lifestyle prior to stepping foot on the ship.

There were a couple Canadian girls a few years ago charged with drug smuggling on a multiple country/world cruise. It has happened before but and hopefully it doesn’t happen again. I totally agree with you. All you have to do is get on the “wrong part” of Instagram (which could lead to Fans Only) and one can guess😉 how people pay for their Instagram lifestyles. It makes a world cruise seem tame in comparison. One can only hope that they save money for later in life, when they don’t want the same type of work schedule. Edit to add, never been to Fans Only and occasionally see the wrong side of Instagram.

I have heard rumor of this from Genies that we have had. Personally I wouldn't want it on the smaller ships though. The smaller ships IMO don't have the demand for needing a Genie. The shows are not anywhere near the caliber of the other ships. They can book your meals, but they are only a few specialty venues to dine in. The only gain might be getting of the ship at tender ports, but in the RS the concereige could help with that. I think its just another way to charge more on the smaller ships. If they start to do this, then they should be making the Sky Class perks equal across all the ships and not just Oasis and Quantum Class. Free wifi, costal kitchen etc... Just my thoughts.

I did too, and just thought it was the Head of the Star Class program doing a cameo. I never expected them to be on the cruise. I recognized one friend from the corporate office who is not on the cruise.

Another reason to keep water in the tank is to keep the rubber seals wet. If they dry out they shrink and crack. When the tank refills they could leak.
