  1. Just when I think I’ve seen all of them an episode comes along I had not seen. So many favourites I couldn’t just name one favourite moment. A couple favourites though are Rusty (the horse), JFK’s golf clubs and the contest. That’s so cool.
  2. This is where Twin Peaks as filmed. I’d love to see it in person too. A vlogger I follow did an extensive video on locations. At 35 minutes in is the falls. If you loved Twin Peaks this is a great video to watch
  3. I don’t think you could get it digital before. You could only get the printed version.
  4. As a non-member you can view many forums, except for the member areas, roll calls etc… in the past I knew that he followed our adventures here.
  5. That would be my guess as well. Sometimes people need a break from social media. I hope to see her back here again one day. Now that said, it's not as though as other members have been banned and haven't retuned... M8? Are you still here?
  6. From the taillights alone I recognized that car. I know two guys that have them now and they are a throwback to their youth. I bet he talks about this car frequently.
  7. That would be nice, but it’s just a dream at this point. The quoting with/of photos is something that I do not like people doing, unless the quoted photo is specific to the response. I also hate pictures with no spaces in between and more than 5/6 photos in a post. The read gets lost in too many photos. Just my thoughts
  8. I hope that the dress photo would not earn her a game. If it did, I highly doubt it would be her last straw as she is one of the nicest posters and not controversial in the least.
  9. To think years ago she preformed on Allure’s inaugural sailing from probably a song and a dance. Now RC is trying to keep up with her 😉
  10. I know 2 people here in Ontario, just over 50, who have had it this year on top of others who were older when they got it. My medical plan covers it so in the new year, after we return from Mexico, I’m going to chat with my family doctor about it. Even if it didn’t I’d pay the funds to avoid getting it.
  11. I agree with you 100%. My mom and MIL have received the latest rounds as they are 81 and 75. They are older and the recommendation from Health Canada is those over 70 suggested to get them. Those under that age are recommended if they are immune compromised. Seeing as it is practically a cold at this point I’d go with it is up to the individual and their needs. That said, a common cold has lead to the demise of some people. Lisa, Owen and I got our flu shots this year, but haven’t had a Covid booster in over a year and a half. I’m seriously contemplating getting the shingles vaccine as I know a few that have had it and I’d rather not get it.
  12. Here is just a bit of our experience with Matt. He was on our sailing, the week before the Atlantis sailing. I guess we were his warm-up cruise. We discovered/heard him from the rising tide bar, and headed over to the Schooner Bar on night one. We returned every night for the shenanigans.
  13. I’m sorry this happened to you. As someone who has cruised Star Class on multiple occasions, the main time our different Genie’s have used the express mode is on departure day. The only other time I can think of is if they are walking us off the ship at a port of call. In our experiences if someone was boarding the elevator with us they were always welcome. We or our Genie would press their floor, as well as ours and the guest was none the wiser to being on the express ride. We certainly would not cut the line, and would not allow our Genie to do this to others. It really doesn’t hurt to be kind. That said, I know there are rude Star guests. I have heard about them from Genies that have become friends and first hand with my own eyes. Unfortunately I bet this Genie had to put up with their egotistical behaviour all week. At this point and time he was probably just happy to get rid of them. Sorry again. You would be more than welcome to ride with us.
  14. How is your doggie feeling today? Fingers crossed that their feeling better.
