  1. Just read this in their website: For cruises departing February 20, 2023 and beyond. What is Included The package includes all beer, spirits, wine by the glass and cocktails $15.00 USD and under as listed on our menu(s), or $22.00 AUD and under for voyages departing from and returning to Australia and New Zealand. The package includes sparkling or still bottled water (500ml or less), fountain sodas, fresh juices and healthy smoothies (juice bar), specialty coffees and teas, Frappés at Coffee & Cones, and Red Bull energy drinks
  2. Bottled water is not included in the Plus package? I thought it was!
  3. I the same thing when I load the discussion boards -- top right of the screen of my phone.
  4. Do it!! You can do as much or little as you like in terms of sightseeing and enjoy a lovely cruise as well.
  5. Yes, we did a 12-day Med cruise with Princess but it was over 10 years ago. It really does take a lot of planning! It’s a different kind of cruise than a Caribbean one. You are much more busy sightseeing. But it is so wonderful to see so many places and have a beautiful ship taking you there! We are very anxious for our cruise this May!
  6. We are booked on the Enchanted for the Barcelona to Rome trip. We have a mini suite on Caribe, midship, and one of the ones with an extended, angled balcony. Of course we haven’t seen it yet, but people say it makes the balcony large enough to enjoy. I like that it’s midship and a lower balcony. Check out the deck plans and you’ll see the ones with the extended balconies.
  7. I would lean toward the first itinerary because I think the “Dr. Seus-like” architecture of Gaudi would make an impression on your daughter and be fun to see. My kids saw it when they were around that age and enjoyed it. They took a million pics of buildings! I would think a tour of La Familia Sagrada would be memorable. I have never been to Cannes, but we have been to Marseille and I don't know that I’d make that a priority. Not to say anything negative about any of these ports because I think there is no wrong answer —- it’s all spectacular!
  8. I completely relate to your experiences. I am the same and my daughter is the same. My son doesn’t have problems and can rides roller coasters all day long. I foolishly once in my 40’s thought I had likely outgrown it and rode Space Mountain in Disney World. I was sick the rest of the day. Vomiting and had to lay down on a park bench — so embarrassing!! I have had motion sickness from my earliest memories, like you. I love cruising though so I am thankful there are things we can do to make it possible. My daughter, on the other hand, says she will never cruise again, as the meds just don’t do the trick enough for her. A poster here (MrGabriel) has recently recommended acupuncture which worked for him. I may give it a whirl!
  9. I know everyone is different, but do be aware of the patch. I wore them for several cruises with success. But then I wore them for a 12-day cruise. When I removed them, I thought I had a virus. Vomiting and so sick and it lasted MONTHS. My doc couldn’t figure it out. Didn’t make the connection. The next summer I took another long cruise, and got horrible vertigo for a month after removing them. I then made the connection. I just rely on Bonine and an electronic pulse watch now. Here is an article about a woman with a similar experience to mine.
  10. Interesting! So that website shows our Caribe mini-suite is a connecting room, but the Princess site doesn’t. Who to believe? Also, now when you go to Princess deck plans for Enchanted it asks if you are sailing before April 2024 or after, so they can give you accurate maps.
  11. Oh, I'm so glad you posted. I went and checked and it appears our Caribe extended balcony is not a connecting room. I thought I had seen on on another map that it was --- but maybe I was looking at another Royal class ship. Thanks for the prompt to check!
  12. I didn’t realize you could go to this bar without a dinner reservation! So you can access the bar every night? Can you get appetizers at the bar? Thanks!
  13. There is a mini-suite tour on YouTube that shows the outlets. It appears he says there are two US outlets at the desk. And it looks like only usb ports at the bedside. Also outlets in the bathroom.
  14. So glad to hear this, because we chose the Mid-Ship, extended balcony on the Enchanted purposefully and were so excited to get it. Now I’m a bit worried, but will cross my fingers. Love the towel btw the doors tip and will remember it just in case.
  15. Thanks, Kolleeen, for sharing that Coolibar. I love it and found some colors available on Amazon for $25. Just ordered. Most colors in my size were $79 but some pretty colors were on sale!
  16. Hlitner, we are considering Cassis for our Marseille port day (have been to Marseille once before.) Would you recommend Cassis as well? I read there’s a winery right outside of town that I thought might be fun. Thanks for any advice!
  17. Maybe split the difference and check one large bag but also bring one carry on for essentials. A little more money for a little more peace of mind?
  18. This is a helpful question to us as well. We have been to Marseille once before, so this time we want to try a surrounding town. So far I’m thinking about taking the train to Cassis and spending time there. I did read there might be winery to visit close to Cassis. If anyone has any input about this plan, I’d appreciate it too. Thanks!
  19. It’s lovely, will look elegant, and still be comfortable. Grab it now!
  20. The other reason to ask questions that might have an answer elsewhere is that when people start answering, they drop other helpful hints that the OP might not have even thought to ask. I just learned quite a bit on this thread, even though I already technically knew the answer to the original question.
  21. Thanks for info and I think scheduling ahead sounds really smart! Thanks for the idea!
  22. Would you mind if I ask the cost for acupuncture on the ship? I’d be open to that as I also get motion sickness very, very easily. Ear patch worked for me but caused side effects for months after. Thanks!
  23. Our Princess cruise will be in Gibraltar for one day this spring. My husband and I (and possibly a few others from our cruise) would like to take a Taxi Tour. I tried a couple times to get a quote online from Gibraltar Taxi Association, but never heard back. I'm trying to figure out if there is another company that someone can recommend to hire or if it's just as good to wait and find a taxi at the port. Are prices the same whether pre-booked or not? How quickly are all the taxis taken at the port? (I tried doing a search for this but didn't find these answers.) Thank you so much for any help as we make our plans!
  24. Hmmm... good idea! I think we may start wearing our Bengals gear onboard! Love our rivalry though!
