  1. In a 1.5 weeks, I'm headed to Miami for my B2B2B, can't wait!!!! :D My friend who I'm cruising with are arriving in Miami on different days so will be getting to the port separately. I'm planning on waiting for her outside the terminal but was just wondering. Would we be allowed to check in and board separately (as I'll get to the port before she does) or do we have to check in and board together?

    Thanks!! :D

  2. slord12, thanks so much for the review and pics, I really enjoyed both!! :D I'm sailing on a 3 Day (part of a B2B2B) on Imagination so it's great to get an idea of what such a short cruise is like (the shortest one I've ever done was 4 Days). I hope mine is as party oriented as yours was!! Two questions, do you happen to remember if they had a White Party (if you wear white, you get $1 off drinks all night) and/or a Deck Party? If so, which nights(s) were they? I know Imagination and Sensation may be different but I'd just like to get an idea of what they have/don't have and when things are.

    Thanks again!!!! :D

  3. It's going on two weeks now that I just came back from my first cruise and I am obsessed. I want to go on another one like today.. Just wanted to know if this is normal and if you felt the same way when you went on your first cruise. I catch myself asking random people hey let's go on a cruise. So please advise if I need to seek help.. lol

No, you absolutely don't need help (unless we all do, lol)!!!! :D I suffer the exact same way after every cruise I go on. The best solution is to always make sure you have another cruise booked, makes it a little better!! Cruising is the best vacation in the world and definatly addictive. What ship did you go on and where did you sail? Welcome to the club!!!! :D

  4. Just a quick question though how much does this program cost per person? I mean if you are going to use it for beer it may be cheaper to just buy it then use this program.

I think it's $50 per person, per day but I'm not 100% sure. Also remember that everyone in the cabin who's 21 and older has to buy the program so for you and your hubby, it's $100 per day.

  5. AVRIL, that is

You mean me? It is my real name!! :D I was stupid when I joined CC, somehow missed the part where they tell you not to use your real name. Oh well. I actually live in Ontario, Canada about 100 miles from where Avril Levigne (I think that's spelt right) was born and raised. I'm 3 months older than she is though!!!! And thanks, it's a Welsh name (my Mom's side of the family is Welsh).

  6. that you WILL get cut off with the Cheers program after you order your 15th drink of the day!! :( I got off the Glory a couple of weeks ago and someone I met onboard and hung out with had the program. One night, he reached his 15th drink and even though he wasn't drunk (wasn't even tipsy), the bartender wouldn't serve him another even when he said he'd pay for it just like if he didn't have the program. He could have all the soda he wanted, just no more alcoholic drinks. I just thought I'd let people know so no one gets upset or disappointed on their cruise!!

  7. I am in the process of uploading my pictures, so I will be posting a full review hopefully over my long holiday weekend! This was my 3rd cruise, and first on a small ship. I have previously cruised on the Carnival Dream and RC's Freedom of the Seas, so I was nervous about a smaller ship. I LOVED IT. The Sensation had incredible crew members and awesome musicians! Stay tuned for my full review with pictures. If you have any questions feel free to ask away!

Thanks in advance for your review and pics!!!! :D I'm doing a 3 Day (B2B with a 4 Day) on the Imagination in November so I'm really interested to read about what a 3 Day is like (never done one before). I'm super excited for the cruise and have been reading anything and everything I can find!!!! :D

  8. I'm sailing on the Splendor on Sept 27th of next year (2014) and we will be on ship till October 4th, going to Canada and New England. What day in October will you be going south instead of north.

We sail from New York on October 16th, super excited!!!! :D You'll love the Canada cruise, we did a 5 day one on the Victory in 2008, very foggy at sea but an awesome cruise!!!!

We're from the Ottawa area! :)

Grand Turk is great if you're a beach person! They have a nice shopping area and beautiful beach right by the pier!

Oh, awesome, I know that area really well. Our family cottage is 30 minutes north of Ottawa in Alcove, Quebec!! :D

Awesome, definatly a beach person!!!! :D Shopping is always good as well. And they have a Margaritaville right close by, is that right? It's always fun going there!!!! :D

  9. Hey YankeeFan4Ever!! Thanks so much for your review, I really enjoyed it. I'm sailing with a group of friends on the Splendor (same itinerary as you) in October 2014 so it's great to read about the ship and see pics of it!! :D What did you think of Grand Turk? I'd especially like to know about the port area (right beside where the ship docks). That's the only port on the itinerary I haven't been to yet, can't wait!! :D

By the way, I'm from Canada as well (Burlington, Ontario). Were are you from?

  10. Yup, $49.95 per day plus gratuity.

    Does not include HMC.

They will refund it if you get airlifted off the ship and back charge you for he drinks consumed.

Excellent!! :D Looking forward to trying it!!

Oh, that's interesting. I would've assumed that HMC would be included since it's owned by the cruise line. Can you use your S&S Card at all or will I need to bring either cash or my credit card (or both) ashore? I have been to HMC but it was with Holland America (we could use our ship card on the island) so I don't know if Carnival does things the same way.

That's good to know but I'm really not planning on being airlifted from the ship!! I have seen it happen to others though (once on the Legend and once on the Dream). :(

  11. Teresa, thanks so much for your review, I'm loving it so far!! Looks like you girls had a blast!! I really love the Formal (Elegant) nights as well!! The Imagination was the 1st ship I ever sailed on and I'm going on her again this November/December on a B2B (going with a friend, we're doing the 3 day then the 4 day). :D I haven't found many Imagination reviews so I love seeing and reading them (especially the pics in them)!! :D I can't wait to see the ship again after 10 years!!!! :D

Oh, and by the way, congrats on winning the Master Mixologist!!!! :D
