  1. My 1st cruise was in January 2003 onboard the Imagination (now called the Carnival Imagination). :D It was a 4 day from Miami and we went to Key West, Cozumel and had 1 sea day. Now, 12 cruises later (so yes, it started the addiction), it's still one of my favourites and the Imagination will always have a special place in my heart. :D The ship is 70,367 tons, 855 feet long and carrys 2,052 passengers. I remember when I 1st saw her how huge she looked. I was just looking at a picture of her now and was thinking "OMG! She's so small!!" Here's a pic of her:

I have four more cruises crurrently booked: the Carnival Valor for October 2008, the Eurodam for December 2008/January 2009, the Carnival Freedom for May 2009 and the Oasis of the Seas for December 2009. I can't wait to cruise again!! :D Oh, and I got my fiancee into cruising as well. I took him on his 1st cruise in February 2008 on the Carnival Conquest and he's coming on the Valor with me in 3 weeks!!!! :D

My Eurodam cruise will be my 1st on HAL!!

  3. I think the picture came out great, especially considering how you "digitized" it! I never would have come up with that solution. Thanks so much for providing an up-to-date link...it's a superb ship picture, with nothing else around - I look forward to seeing more if you ever get them online!

I think so too. I never had the honour of sailing of her or seeing her in person but just hearing stories about her from family and friend who hve been on her and reading about her, got me to want to take a cruise myself. Now, 7 almost 8 cruises later, I really have to say: Thanks Mardi Gras!!!! :D

    May she rest in peace

  4. OK, I'll just have to contribute here. I know that the OP was asking about women's clothing, but she doesn't specifically say women only. So..... here I am in my formal clothes:

The "R" in my member name is for Robertson. That is my Clan's tartan in my kilt.

I love it, you look great. My family's Scotish as well. Our last name is Birnie but we wear the Mathison tartan. I was thinking of takming my kilt on our cruise this December but I am thinking it might be too hot in the Caribbean heat.

  5. I want a Cruise Critic Member sign for my cabin door on the Carnival Legend this Denember. I think it will help me to meet people (not that I ever have trouble) as I have read the posts of other people who do this and they say that other members stop by to say hi and chat. Does anyone know where I could get one?

Also, does anyone have any ideas for decorating the cabin door/door frame for New Years? I have never done this before and think it would be fun.:D
