Live from Majestic Princess - 20th October 2022

Glad you are on Cheryle, hope Geoff and Barb are tucked up in their cabin too😁 Ahhh, not having to make lunch, can only dream -
Ok, so someone will correct me if I am wrong, haven't cruised since the shutdown. We are booked on Adventure in January, my research says yes, aft pool on Adventure is adults only fee free. Aft pools on Princess Grand class are free and not always adults only, think it depends on ship. The Coral is not a Grand class ship, it's aft pool is part of the Sanctuary. Sanctuary on Princess is available to anyone for a fee, Ozkiwi can tell you more as we don't use it. Byron Bay Beach club on Adventure/Encounter are for mini and suite guests. I have not read that you can pay for day use.

I can pick most ships colours on the horizon. When onboard I can make out the towns, lighthouses and hills of our area on the North Coast. -
Hey Luckie😀 Grand Princess built 1998, Pacific Adventure built 2001. Have sailed Princess and P&O, been on Adventure when she was Golden Princess. To add to what Austraveller has stated, there is an added charge for ice cream on P&O on deck and burgers, fries and pizza that is not served at the buffet. Not a problem for us but for those that have kids it's a few extra $$. Cabins will all be similar layouts on both ships, as they are both Grand class. If after a balcony have a look at Caribe deck 10, extra large balconies with half cover/half open. There are 4 larger inside cabins on Aloha midship, a different layout with lots of space. The aft cabins on Aloha have a door leading up to the aft pool area and buffet, a great spot. The forward area which is the Sanctuary on Grand is the Byron Bay Beach club on Adventure, for Mini and Suite guests which includes the pool, damn cos we liked that pool on Princess! On Princess Grand class this pool can be used by everyone. P&O have made their aft pools adults only which is good for those of us that don't travel with kids.

Yes, sometimes I have sat at the Lighthouse at Tacking Point and watched the ships pass......sometimes I have been on them sailing past. Geoff is on Majestic Princess, I am not keeping track of all the ships coming and going, but I think yes it would be the biggest ATM until Royal come with Ovation/ Quantam. -

Awww.....poor puppies hating storms. I taught Ellie in one day to sit, and wait for her food, so clever. Ok Gut, back to your puppy, sorry for hijacking!! It's Friday night homemade pizza night here, and I think Andy will need a few beers this arvo when he gets home! -

Yes, they are lovely loyal dogs. Active when young, but easily taught, love routine and just want to please. Ours was anxiety ridden, hated thunder and spray bottles, ( think she may have been sprayed with a chemical) wouldn't have a bath but would swim in the river!! -

Andy bought her home as a pup for his dad, but had an eye problem, common for kelpies. she was running into fences and was to quick with the cattle, we couldn't stand to see her on the chain so bought her home, that was 9 years ago. She had a good easy life here. We have worked on cattle and sheep stations in the Flinders Ranges and know how some dogs are treated. To a farmer they are workers......and breeders haha! -

Gut treasure your puppy, we just had to put our 14yr old kelpie down yesterday. We bought her home from the vet then drove out to the farm where she had been a working dog for the first couple of years of her life and buried her on the hill looking out over the Hastings River, she was still warm in the calico bag they put her in as we laid her in the earth. We are still crying, it's so quiet here and every time I go out on the deck she is not there curled up on her chair. My husband is not an emotional man, and has never had a pet, being bought up on a farm, but he loved this dog, she was his girl🥰 -

Gut I am so sorry for your pain, we have our 34 year old year old son back home with us, has been for the last 2 years with a permanent progressive back disorder. He has had to cut work down from 10 hr days to 6hrs and that will prob get less over time. Uncomfortable to stand, walk lie down. My sister had the same disorder and after 20 odd years just had major surgery. Hope you can relieve the pain. -
Pre paid SIM prior to NZ trip

Yes, you deposit it as PAYG. We had roaming on when we visited Singapore last and we couldn't send an SMS....realised we hadn't put any money on PAYG. We only have a $15 plan each, the data rolls over, which is great as we have WIFI at home so never use it. The SIM sounds great for NZ, we would do that if there for a while. -
They are at $6.7USD at the moment, I am down about 4 grand☹️......but my husband always tells me, you have only lost money if you sell!! To be honest we have received our money back over the years in OBC, which is why we purchased, who would have thought they would be this low??
