In our opinion, 150 CP is the best of the uncharge restaurants on the Oasis class ships. Yes, its expensive be we think its worth it. We've never see a wine pairing offered though.
Typically Disney cruises sell quickly. The price goes up from opening day as more and more of the ship gets sold. So, first you would want to book your cruise as soon as bookings open for it. Second, the time of year does matter. Avoid school vacation weeks and summer breaks. Typically September - early December (except for holiday periods) are the lowest.
Using a TA will help you understand booking patterns.
Motion sickness and medicines to fight it are very much an individual thing. The degree of somebody being susceptible to motion sickness is different for each of us. Similarly, for those that are susceptible, what works varies for each. There really isn't any one answer to your question but I'm sure you'll get plenty of answers about what worked for others.
Yes, simply because its Disney is a pretty accurate answer. They have a huge demand for their product and can command premium prices. They also rely on lots of theming on their ships and a high level of customer service and character interactions. That probably makes their costs a bit higher than others.
A lot of people think that the water in FL smells/tastes funny. However, the ship's water doesn't come from Florida sources. The ship makes its own drinking/cooking/cleaning/bathing water by reverse osmosis. That's the same process that bottled water companies use to make their water.
Terminal 29 isn't really that bad. The major inconvenience is for those parking at the port who will need to take a shuttle bus to #29. For them, it's easiest to first drive to 29 and let the rest of your party and their bags out there. Then the driver follows the signs to the parking garage and takes the shuttle bus back to 29 to meet the rest of the group.
You won't be spending much time in the actual terminal itself unless you arrive way too early.
There are tables of various sizes in Luminae. Your party will all be seated at a table appropriate for its size. You will not have the same table each night. It all depends on when you arrive and what tables are available then. It's possible that you'll have the same people wait on you as the staff is fairly small.
I don't believe reservations are available.
The answer is "it depends". On what I can't say because different folks report different experiences.
If you all show up at 11:30 though you can all go through together.
Finding a good TA is important. If your current TA isn't doing everything you want them to do, it's time to change. Before deciding to go direct though, check out other TA's. There are some that will give you good service AND provide an extra on board credit. That's an OBC beyond what you might get booking directly.
Yes, that's true. However I did indeed sail on the Wish just because I wanted to try out the new ship. It's a perfectly valid reason (excuse?) to sail on a particular ship.
We've been on all the DCL ships and enjoy each. All other things being equal, we would always go for the longer sailing, especially at a lower price.
So, what "other" things? Ports of call. Date of journey. Home port. Or, just the desire to sail on a ship you hadn't been on yet.
