Not seen any information as to when ExOS will start the required test cruises. Someone did mention seeing her in San Juan last week so that sounds promising.

At 33 days now and no check in available as yet. If all the planets fall into line we should be on the Nov 7th for a B2B2B. Just need a date from Joe regarding US entry for us Brits  prior to the 7th of November.

I made the decision to cancel my 4 weeks starting on the 7th November just 2 days before the announcement stating the entry date would be the 8th - just couldn’t stand the uncertainty any longer

Where is the Pinnacle Lounge located on Jewel?  Is it Deck 12, where the LA used to be?

    Yes, it is

It really isn’t the right location at all - the noise from the music in the centrum makes it almost impossible to have any conversation.  Also, that big glass dome in the middle is a problem - 3 separate accidents in the 3 weeks I was on board (a friend of mine had a terrible gash all the way down her shin) with people automatically thinking they could get up from their chair and either walk straight across to the food or just leave the area

The LA had asked the HD for a different venue but was told it was a direct instruction from Michael Bayley!!!

I would love to see some sort of statistics from Royal on this.  It can be very economical to cruise in an interior .vs. a suite.  I would also be curious as to the additional revenue from the guests.  Do, for example, high level C&A members spend more than suite guests?

Speaking for myself, I don't spend much onboard.  A few drinks, some meals, perhaps a tour.  Beyond my room, I'm not worth a lot to Royal.

Some pinnacles do sail in suites

Yes I agree.  Amenities etc. are all part of the "Feeling special" Experience we really enjoy with Royal.  We don't know why it wasn't there, but it wasn't.  Even on my Husband's Big Birthday, nothing was sent to the Cabin, like in the old Days we would have got Dipped Strawberries or something.  Times have changed.

Did you try and talk to the Loyalty Ambassador about your amenities??

Hi there ❤️,  I am shocked you haven’t heard by e.mail, makes me feel a little better we are not the only ones 😆.  Does this mean we will miss each other ? Our date is 29th May , not seen you in ages . We will still stick with the cruise  though John will have to make sure he takes extra pain killers for the coach journey , he already doses up for flights 😱. Love to Norman , hope you are both coping with the shielding . Xx

I’m sending you a private message Heather

we should have been on board for 2 cruises, starting 15 May,  but have decided to change them to the Vision out of Barcelona instead.  We always go and stay in Mestre beforehand so it wouldn’t have suited us to sail from Ravenna xx

Sometimes I make changes based on info I get from sources that don't wish to be quoted. When the Excel program indicates a 10 week change, I do it hoping someone will post a correction. I'm assuming viewers consider this thread with a grain of salt.

Wolfcathorse, you do an amazing job which is much appreciated.

  8. It’s possible as long as everything goes ok with the ship getting cleared.  Taxis are always outside as well as people offering private transfers. The airport is only 20 minutes drive away, and check-in staff at the airport won’t take luggage for your flight until 2 hours before, so as long as you are there for 0830, you won’t have a problem.  We always leave the ship at around 0730 and don’t carry our luggage off, it’s in the terminal waiting.

hi, thanks for this, I am in the UK, but I booked it onboard a ship, it does say in the terms that I am allowed one change free of charge.

hi, we were told “No” to change our Royal to Celebrity.  The “one change” rule is to change a Royal cruise deposit to an different Royal cruise.  Although the companies are all part of RCCL, Royal/Celebrity/Azamara bookings are not transferable
