  1. Savouries lasted about 18 month they were never a regular feature.
  2. However it is only the extra venues which seem to be affected. So the vast majority of customers are not affected. Foe example on Azura only 10% of passengers a use the Epicurean even working at full capacity. If it were affecting the MDR you may have a point.
  3. The reason for the shortage is also given. These shortages are not apparent in other ships
  4. You have not read the first post either. We have been on Ventura/Aurora and Iona with no problems so there must be a problem with having the ships in Malta although I have not heard about it before.
  5. On Azura they are not wrap around. When we used suites we made use of the Butler as we would host a party in our cabin and he would arrange it all. But I now need an adapted cabin as well so our suite days are gone. But we now have more cruises weigh what we save. 😎😎😎
  6. I have said for a while that the present situation with some good late deals on some cruises will not last. As more people return to cruising and P&O’s drive to get more new cruisers on board these deals will go. A large % of new cruisers will return pushing up demand. Added to this is the point Sandancer makes about the prices of land holidays. Taking this all into consideration I can see cruises filling quickly and prices not falling.
  7. I have been in the casino every night, when at sea, for the past 22 years and I have never had NV. I also do not recall people being missing from the tables either. At least on BJ you don't touch the cards.
  8. I always use nan online TA i have tried high street TA’s but I have found in general I knew far more about P&O than they did.
  9. Not at the moment my wife did tell me but…………. πŸ™‚
  10. Yes and one of those will be the captain whom we have never heard of so he may not know the way! However there will be plenty of cruisers who have been on this cruise before so he could always ask. πŸ™‚
  11. Well, we will look forward to that. The served meal has always been the best. There will of course be a large number of higher tier passengers on that cruise.
  12. Hi southerner, I would also say that either of the two stern dining rooms are best as we have found the two smaller ones to be quite tight for my scooter which is narrower than a wheelchair. I love Iona because of the accessability. It has put me off some of the smaller ships although we are booked on Arcadia next year.
  13. I am in to the Jam Shed as well. 😁 we have a bottle of the Malbec for tomorrow.
  14. Hi Sandancer, we now use the Baggage Handling Company for our large luggage sp when we travel down to Southampton we travel light.
  15. You are lucky we had it flat calm for 3 weeks on Iona. The storm we should have had the captain raced ahead of. Keep safe.
  16. Correct no lunch as peoples arrival times are so varied.
  17. In my 60+ cruises I have never known a P&O meet and mingle. If you look at the Roll call pages you will see why.
  18. We are sorted on Iona in March 26 2 cruises BtoB. Happy Days Dai
  19. As we are on Iona, I have just seen this and I can only say I am shocked!!! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
  20. Not been on Arcadia recently but when we were on there were very few people using the buffet at all. 20 tops.
  21. Sorry this is standard practice for late bookings. Ever since I have been cruising. But I agree If I could book late I would not book select. Booking at that time would not give you the cabin you wanted as the popular cabins would all be gone.
  22. Spot on. Love Iona, for exactly the same reasons. We are on Arvia in May and Iona next week.
