I don't mean to hijack this thread but can someone tell me what documentation is needed to prove that I am a shareholder? Does my financial advisor need to send me something or can I just print up a copy of my statement? I'm a new shareholder and I don't have a clue what they require.
as a new shareholder myself, I can share that I simply blacked out the account number on my statement and emailed a photo of it, ensuring that my name showed on the statement page. Good luck! -
Eurodam seems to be on the move

Thank you for the confirmation @Fouremco I guess the real decision is a personal one now to balance my need for downtime after a difficult year with being a good Canadian/global citizen in following the advice of my government.

It depends on the travel insurance company. With Johnson Insurance, my group policy covers us with and without the travel advisory.
Can you confirm that PSHCP covers Covid medical as well or do I need to purchase Medoc as well? I was going to anyway, but an early January cruise grabbed my attention and not sure I will have time to join the Association and buy the insurance in time. My cruise is with Princess and although I also purchased their insurance so that cancellation would be included, they are now testing on the pier after disembarking, which may mean quarantine costs would not be covered if I test positive.
I am not risk averse, but this has me rethinking the cruise ☹️

I took advantage of the drop in price shortly after the start of COVID and picked up 100 shares. Requested the Shareholder benefit for the first time today. Used the information provided on CC to send an email at 4:11 this afternoon. Just thought to check now and the OBC is already showing on my booking!
Cruise Critic is the BEST 😍

Let me get this straight…. HAL turned your 7 day cruise into a 4 day cruise on the same ship less than 24 hours after final payment?? And offered $50 OBC as compensation for the missing 3 days? And did not offer to refund flights or hotel bookings if you chose to cancel?
Unbelievable!!

And Eurodam seems to be turning, so she will be right behind the NS.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why they have not corrected their website. I contacted my PCC about a cruise I already had booked and he confirmed the promo included prepaid gratuities for the entire cruise and added it to my booking. I had already paid $1500 CDN as a deposit and it had to be amended to reflect that $198 of that deposit is non refundable.

As I read it, Canadian cruisers will only be subject to additional testing if they have been in one of the 10 affected countries. So, not yet.

I was in a VH balcony and bought Club Orange. I was hoping for an aft VS but since none were available I got a VB on deck 4. Two weeks later I saw an aft facing on deck 5 available. I called Ship Inventory and they changed my cabin with no problems.
So yes, keep checking if the cabin you want becomes available. Good luck.
thanks so much! Looks like it will be worth the time and effort to keep checking 😊-

I prefer aft (straight up to the aft view pool and straight down to the main dining room) and the Beethoven deck because the balconies are deeper and I find them more comfortable to stretch out on.

Is it possible to change the cabin I have been upgraded to after booking Club Orange?
I purchased Club Orange for an upcoming cruise in April 2022. I booked an obstructed balcony then upgraded to a regular balcony cabin of my choice. I would have chosen an aft-facing balcony but there were none available.
If an aft-facing balcony becomes available prior to sailing, can I call ship services and have them change my CO upgrade to the aft balcony?

Princess must be ready to sail as well

Is there no outdoor sound on the Port Everglades webcam? How am I going to hear the toots??

Thanks. Focussed as hard as I could and still didn’t see any movement 😆

I knew the specific cabin I wanted to be upgraded to, so I contacted my PCC and he booked the lowest category, added CO and upgraded to my cabin of choice all at once. Nothing else for me to do. When factoring in the cost of CO, I ended up with the cabin I wanted and the CO benefits for about CDN $350 pp less than if I had booked my preferred cabin without CO. Well worth it for me!

But no sound? Maybe too late at night for toots?

Federal govt says not to travel internationally for min 4 weeks

I wish this eased my mind but it does not. I guess it depends on interpretation. One can test positive while still onboard and be “required to quarantine post-disembarkation before returning home” so I fear this might apply only to those who tested positive while still onboard.
Is anyone aware of an individual who tested positive at the shoreside testing site and went on to have their quarantine expenses covered by Princess insurance?
