  1. I saw quite a few further out on sale. I've always wanted to do twister, that speed boat. Used to be $89 just for twister. Now it takes you to a unlimited beach break. Idk about the beach thing, but signed up for 58.99 open bar (25% off). Got 2 excursions for each leg dec 2024. 30% off. Close in not such good luck. Stuff is sold out. Jamie's lunch on harmony 14.99 but sold out except for boarding day and day 3. I'll have b2b lunch which I like and day 3 is cheers with a officer. Day 2 and 7 completely sold out dec 3. Cheapest I've seen unlimited dining mariner may 6 $209. Good deal. Lunch at Jamie's only 12.99 that week. Mariner has the best prices for any of my bookings. I spent a lot for so few dates.
  2. I think you win. The best I saw was 40% off some lunches, but the days werent good 30% off some excursions .. one 25% off...wasnt quick enough. Stuff going up as I book. I bought a LOT of excursions and a few lunches.
  3. I've only seen izumi sushi side excluded on grandeur. I used it for my night 1 on allure. Izumi hibachi excluded is probably what you meant, usually excluded.
  4. Wifi would be the main perk. Takes away a lot of the reason to book one. You would think they wanted to push the price higher with all perks.
  5. Oh welcome to cc and the thread. I'm on harmony soon for the first time so I'm reading alomg too.
  6. Start at the beginning. He posted his cabin number? I might be wrong, seems like deck 9, 2nd to the end. He got a lot of noise night 1 from the football games. They turn everything off by 11 pm, but before then can be noisy. He posted pics from his balcony you can see.
  7. It's been a long time since I was there. Back then they rented snorkeling equipment and huge dog biscuits to feed the fish. Funny story to me, the girl is mad at me. I took a friend on the cruise and she stuffed the dog biscuits down the front of her one piece bathing suit and went in the water .. the fish came nibbling and she starting screaming. What a day.
  8. Its pretty hard to predict traffic. A accident can happen any time and houston seems prone. IAH is north of downtown, about twice as far as hobby. I'd allow for hold ups. Downtown is always slow. OP columbus sounds interesting... dancing cheeseburgers lol
  9. Here is a screen shot from allure .. I wait until thursday.. get off sunday...and midnight when the prices change and one day is subtracted. .. 3 nights, 2 full days this way. This shows the daily rate, or what I choose ... rest of the cruise.. which is LESS than 2 days every time I've bought.. leaving about $6 in unused promo. Here is me buying "for the rest of the cruise".
  10. Yes you each get 2 days of free wifi. Same like before when you got 1 day. The discount for the 2 days pops up subtracted from the total of whatever you click on to check. One day .. or rest of the cruise .. whichever you choose on the paper where you sign in or purchase. The 5 free drinks has no effect on the price of drink pkgs.
  11. Havent seen better cruise prices since covid. Just sales on planner items for already booked cruises.
  12. If you cancel, how much you get back depends when you cancel after final. If they can resell your cabin why not? I no showed, was no pt in cancelling so they didnt resell mine, but I'm sure they sometimes resell. Why would it matter to you? Btw many
  13. You should try breakfast in the solarium tomorrow morning while it's a sea day. Hours change on port days. I really enjoyed eating breakfast in there. That's my go to breakfast spot. I assume dinner is that Greek stuff. .. worth sneaking thru to grab some baklava.
  14. Could you please post a picture at top tier when they show how many pinnacles, diamonds etc onboard. I've seen posts for nov 26 and dec 3 we also have the same restrictions for diamonds pinnacles etc bumping down to not get in all lounges etc. Wondering how many. We had 173 or something like that of pinnacles when allure came to Galveston. I'd like to compare.
  15. The ship isnt even sailing yet. I'd wait for it to start and so everyone can see what's new to eat and can be booked. .. what's typical for a ship still not sailing, so new idk. Stay tuned, I'd bet there will be some special releases and advertising.
  16. Lol I suggested start from the back of the thread, until the posts with release dates.
  17. Have you considered a hc cabin. So you can get the scooter in there at night. Not allowed to store in the hall as noted above. The hc cabins on rcl are bigger.
  18. Maybe start at the end, though there is a lot of chatter so its hard to find the release dates. But yes this thread is covered on that thread. Duplicate. 2025 to april 2026 release dates does include ALL rcl release dates... for all ships.
  19. I wouldnt assume that because this first 7 day sailing of harmony has a lot of high level loyalty pax they will still be onboard in jan. I know a lot who cruise out of Galveston around now to xmas but get off during the holidays to be with family. I've been cruising during dec since covid myself so have run into a lot of them. Prices were higher when I booked dec 10, but less other weeks so more demand that week I'd assume. Being the first 7 day on harmony I'm sure was a draw.
  20. Reservations not required for older ships. Diamond lounge location is the same, it's been renamed crown lounge. Rcl said no worries nothing is changing ... ooops. Well turns out some cruises have changes if top heavy loyalty. I've never had health check times enforced.
  21. I thought as long as you dropped the 2nd pax before you sailed you got the pt. Maybe @Ourusualbeachknows.
  22. Be sure and delete her before you sail, or you wouldnt get the extra solo pt.
  23. It might have changed but when my TA checked you didnt need to book a ghost, to be able to add someone to a 2 person cabin. .. now I get DP340 so yes, but not a regular rate, not necessary at the time I asked.
