I have noticed in the past that the app that far out is not always accurate. The October Allure cruise doesn't even show they have Chops. I checked out the August 21 and there was no lobster tail. Checked out the current Voyager cruise and they are serving lobster 🦞 tail on Day 10. Let's hope it gets back on there.

Has anyone ever eaten in a specialty restaurant on lobster night and been able to get a lobster tail from the mdr added to your meal? I love 🦞 but want to take full use of the UDP.

I thought I remembered it being mentioned before but I might be remembering someone doing that at CK. I guess I will ask on the main board.

It was a hit or miss around here. Thankfully we got hit several times when others just a few miles away didn't. Hope it hits for you.

I tried to grow them a couple years ago with no luck. I started them to early. The like ending in cool weather. I have read that it's even good for them to go through a light frost or two. I was not a big Brussel sprouts fan until I started roasting them. Love them now!

When we were on Harmony last January we started off in 7162 but by evening we were upgraded to 8250. Close to where you stayed in March.

I have had plants on our deck up until this year. Sharon loaded it with flowers 💐 this year. I liked using grow bags and it worked out great. What's nice about grow bags is that they air prune the roots. Congrats on the PhD and retirement! You know, people build retirement up to be such a great thing....... It's much better than that!

Yesterday it looked like my newly planted Brussel sprouts could use some water. Since there was only a slim chance of rain in the forecast I watered them. A couple hours later it started to rain. It rained a few hours. It was storming again this morning. Based on a couple containers that caught the rain, we got at least 3 inches of rain! BTW, the plants look great today!

Are kids took us to a concert in Memphis last December. We ate at Huey's.

Do JS usually cost much less when new bookings come out? Also, if I remember correctly, TA's don't have group rates for JS. Our new TA found us a great deal for OVB on our October cruise and has provided some great options for an OVB for January. Although I prefer deck 8 too, you can just trot down the steps one deck from 9 and be at CP.

We have not tried a JS. We liked the space of a GS and the GS bathroom. What is it about a Jr Suite that beats a OVB. Is the bathroom as nice as a GS? I liked being able to eat breakfast and lunch at CK but not enough to pay a couple grand more for it. I also liked the Suite deck but I am guessing you miss out on that too in a JS.

Last year some here suggested me to roast some of my garlic harvest. The other day I roasted some. After enjoying some Sharon came over to give me a kiss goodnight and she about fell over. 😆 She said it was strong!

Last year when we cruised it really helped heal my foot. It had been a few months since I had injured my foot and it was not fully healing until I spent the week getting around on the cruise (and almost another week trying to get home 🙃 😅) I hope it helps Eric. Breathing in that sea air is nice too.

That is what I like about it. Also nice to be close to the restaurants. Also if the elevators are slow it's not that bad taking the stairs. Nice central location.

Hey Debbie! I can understand how hard it would be to keep up here. It has been hard for me the last couple weeks. Good to here your Amish paste are doing well. Is this your 1st year growing them? What kind of sauce did you make. I have made a bunch of spaghetti and pizza sauce then seal with the chamber vac. It is nice to be able to flatten the sauces out before freezing. Saves a lot of space. I tried something new last week. Instead of skinning the tomatoes by boiling a minute then I water, I just cut out the hard stem area and blended them in the vitamix with the skin on. A lot less work and clean up! It worked great. Garden, first the bad. Pole beans, peas cucumbers and cherry tomatoes did poor. I picked only 6 pear cherry tomatoes and this evening I picked my only cucumber. Most of the peppers are doing good. Remember they are self pollinators so tap like you do the tomatoes. Tomatoes are doing good. About 280 so far. They are growing so tall I have been zip tieing extention poles onto the cattle panel. A big rain last week caused cracking. To finish the season I planted more the last 2 weeks. 15 tomato, 8 zucchini, 10 Brussel sprouts, 24 bush bean and will do cucumbers again. Zucchini Brussel sprout put out Saturday. Bush bean popping out of big rain today.

Cherry tomato plants can be very productive. My first Cherry tomato plants I tried this year was a failure. Saturday I planted 11 Cherry tomato plants with mature in 65 days and four 42 Day tomatoes. I also planted 10 Brussel Sprout plants and seeded some bush beans. My zucchini that I planted a little over a week ago is really taking off. I am also restarting the cucumbers. Nice having a second chance with a long season.

That is our favorite too. Oasis class, OVB, mid ship, deck 8.

I was just watching The Andy Griffith Show. On the store window it was advertising 2 lbs of tomatoes for $0.25.

Last May on Ovation the ship internet was not that good but our AT&T 5g worked great at port and usually for about an hour after leaving port when out on the balcony or deck. That should give you opportunity to post pics here. I'm sure all here would love for you to share some. Enjoy the cruise. Alaska is such a beautiful place to visit.
